FRAU CAROLE

Are the Presidency of the Computer Club and Warden of CV Q&A paid positions? Just wondering.

  1. Having had the positions (both), I can tell you Mike, that they are not paid. Also, if you go to the Computer Club site, there is mention that Carole is stepping down. Whether from all her positions or just teaching at the club, I was not clear on

  2. I would think a sincere ‘thank you’, a solid walnut plaque, and a position on the executive cmte would be payment enuf.
After all, now the Plumber Question is on Q&A, her work on this earth is done, unless she runs for UCO ...

  7. Carole obviously was given the rules and regulations of the Q&A. When it first started it wasn't too bad but people soon made it into a name calling venture. She has tried to make it work. Clearly it wasn't meant to be. Get out while you can, Carole.

  8. Hi all, I am very new to this website and I must say I think it is briliant. The people on it seem so well informed and very educated. I feel like I am getting a great education just reading it. However, I feel that this particular thread (if that is the correct term) is mean spirited. I believe that Carol is doing her best as far as the Forum rules go. As she said, it isn't a chat room. Obviously, we all wanted to chat - it's tons of fun. I love it and love to read it. But I also believe that Carole works hard for no pay and does a great job. There is also a great need for the CV forum type of questions so I hope she continues. I also agree with her that sometimes there was quite a bit of very nasty postings on that site. So bravo to you Dave for starting this wonderful chat site for us. But also bravo to Carol for the hard work she does on the CV site. And as Forest Gump say, "and that's all I have to say about that....."

  9. I just realized I spelled the word "brilliant" wrong. How do we edit our posting? I don't want all you smarties (is that spelled right???) to have one up on me!!! Oh well...

  10. Hi Chrisj,
The Comments cannot be edited at this time. The best thing you can do is delete the Comment and retype it.
New posts (New Subjects) can be edited.

The issue Vis-A-Vis Carole is about a UCO policy that quashes any dissent and attempts to "manage" information. This is America and that will not stand!
As for the ability of this BLOG to provide hard researched information; give it a try, we have registered Authors on this BLOG that are amongst the most knowledgeable in critical issues of Condominium Operations and other problems in CV. So, can we replace the CV
    Q & A? YES! in Spades.

Than you Carole. Also, I do have a question. What happened to all the activity on the Forum? It's been very quiet.
