Speaking of Frank Cerabino...

Hi All,

Did anyone catch Frank Cerabino's article this past weekend concerning Governor Charlie Christ's tan problem. If by any chance you missed it, take a look at the link below. That Frank really is very funny. You've just got to love him, even if he does pick on us CV folks from time to time. As they say, how can you dislike a guy who plays the sax for his dog.

Well anyway, if you're in the mood, take a peek.

And if you have any great Frank Cerabino stories that you would like to share with us, please feel free.

Enjoy
chris

  1. Frank, Oh Frank,
How could you have zapped us again. And after someone gave you such nice words of praise, not to mention free advertising.
    Shame, shame, shame.

  4. Frank Cerabino’s Shady Palms’s should be required reading before anyone begins condo life, see this warning from Shady Pallms 5 – “The lawyer was reveling in his newfound easy access to the sprawling condo complex, which he now viewed as his own personal hunting grounds, an unspoiled savannah of limitless litigation. For years, he had been kept at bay from the inner sanctum of Shady Palms and its numerous conflicts, which could always be made worse in the capable hands of a good plaintiff's attorney, such as himself. But now he had a free pass inside,” Do not invite lawyers inside!

  5. "Arguments at Shady Palms were practically an art form, and they could erupt with little notice on any topic - the use of a chaise lounge by the pool, the maximum permissible time to hold an elevator, the volume limitations on a living-room stereo. The opportunities were endless, the combatants were willing, and the results were never conciliatory." FC

  6. "The newest club was something called the restaurant club, which was basically just a bunch of people who chose to go out to eat at the same restaurant and then gather to complain about their meal, frequently resulting in a letter-writing campaign that got them a free entree or dessert on a future visit. It was very popular." FC

  7. It's a crying shame we don't like Frank Cerabino in here. Can't you just feel the hate.

  8. How could somebody be cruel
and say we don't like Frank
Cerabino at CV. I know of
    two residents of CV who
    think highly of Frank for
he gave us 15 minutes of
fame in the Palm Beach Post.

Put that in your pipe and
    smoke it and start speaking
    kindly of people.

  9. When some of our residents make
crazy statements like "stoning" or "cutting off the hands" it is obvious that we in Century Village will be taken to task and our mental abilities questioned. We got what we deserved.

  10. Actually, I'm the anon that said it's a crying shame we don't like Frank Cerabino.
I was actually just kidding. I think we all love him and you can tell how everyone was going on about Shady Palms.
I am a big fan. So Sorry, I thought the way I wrote it, my drift would be understood. My mistake.

  11. Quite possibly the reputation of Century Village is well deserved.

  16. I am only guessing but I would think to protect bloggers against themselves, even tho’ Dave sez nothing is banned, remember it is Google’s blog and they can shut it down anytime. Anonymous is still trying to damage us by repeating crazy statements over and over, someone really is a bundle of hate. Shame.

  17. AMAZING OPINION.

  18. Elaine,

You will have to look at some of the statements made on this blog not by anonymous but by others for your answer.

  19. I was under the impression that Dave created this blog to give our residents a forum to discuss Condo related matters and how it effects our lives. For some reason this appears to have been lost someplace along the line while Dave is away.

  20. Frank has pushed our buttons. I'm surprised one of us has not volunteered as a movie reviewer for the Reporter. It takes nothing to go to the Clubhouse or the Library to see a movie and write about it. If one of our neighbors can write book reports for the paper, I'm sure we can prove that we know beans about movies.

  21. Wow, this Frank thread sure has gotten big. The funny part is that most of it isn't about Frank. Naughty, Naughty.

But as the Blog theme goes, AIN'T WE GOT FUN!!!

  22. I went to the movies the other day and saw "27 Dresses." It was definitely in the A class of movie. It was a good story and the actors were excellent in their parts and the audience were definitely interested. Something worked.

To answer Nutmegger: I don't think we'll ever know.

  23. Hi Flynn:

What is the secret of not
    letting us know.
I don't like the name Meg.

  24. To Nutmegger: I'll just repeat what I said. I don't think we'll ever know what happened to the original column.

I will respect your wishes re Nutmegger.
