THE OLIVE BRANCH OF PEACE

Traditionally the Olive Branch is offered as a token of peace and healing. I created this BLOG for the benefit of all our Unit Owners, so that they might be heard. I also read every word in the BLOG and while I appreciate the expressions of support, I am not deaf to the critical component published here.

What does this mean; it means that the bashing and criticism must stop. The talk about pulling out of UCO and Recall must not be pursued. UCO must not be destroyed, it must be Transformed, healed and fixed.

Of principle moment is that the Reborn President Loewenstein must be given the full opportunity to rebuild the fractured Village and the tarnished UCO, and we must all help him do so.

For me, this means that I must terminate my fractious and divisive postings and herewith I vow to do so.

I hear that the winds of change are already blowing in the tower of UCO and those winds bring good tidings.

I further offer myself as a cooperative volunteer in any function that President Loewenstein feels that I can contribute, hopefully in service to UCO and the Unit Owners of Century Village.

  2. We will look for lots of glad tidings at Installation of Officers, Thursday, August 7, 11:00 am, Clubhouse Room C.

UCO the Useful Cooperative Organisation :-)
First: Wouldn’t it be great if ALL the recent candidates were put to work in UCO, what an opportunity. Their new positions could be announced at the installation ceremony.
Second: UCO could match their words with actions to –
    * Be really transparent.
    ** Really want new ideas.
    *** Really want ALL volunteers.

!make at least one resident happy!

  7. David, you are a good man and I am so happy to see the attitude of co-operation. I hope the newly elected officers will all agree to stop the bashing and use the talent offered.

I still want to see the audit thou, not because I have ever thought anyone was stealing but I want to understand where our money goes. Understanding can bring new ideas that can benefit us all.

  8. I am still up North, reading both the good, the bad and yes the ugly
    and realizing the different views
    presented, I read about openess,
    rules and/or regulations (1) side
stating they are right the other(2)
    also stating they are right????
    Audits,procedures,ego,s personal
attack,s where have I read that before( Mr Levy) all Officer,s of
UCO, past and present! Being up
North I can literally look down on
these writing,s and am as a member
of CV, see to much of THEM, US, and
    what is missing is WE,!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know how many WE,S are not
in the Village now, all info is
    welcome, but insults etc. could
and should be elimanated, not real
    critism of one,s dodilgence that
has to be a concern to all concern.
It has to be done in a more respectful way. Just remember those
    who called Levy, and officer,s
    thief,s, liar,s,? and spent a
lot of money/ and energy, and a year later by the outcome were we left that eleven million? was not
the fact, and it did cost a lot of
money to find that to be true? that
is one of the critism's that I
had with the officer,s at UCO. Now
we are asking for data on finances?
    open meeting's, the reelected, have
to now reunite all, to go forward
and replace the them and us to WE!!
Hoping for a good resolve by all.
Dave as usual thank's for your positive imput on this latest POST.
