Unsafe on the Okee corridor

At the last Delegate mtg. our sheriff issued warnings about the Okeechobee corridor shopping centers outside the village. There have been muggings (w/baseball bat).
Now you can have your own Taser. Over $350 but it does come in pink. http://www.taserontv.com/

What if the bad guys get Tasers too?
Don't shop at night by yourself.

  2. There has been a disturbing increase in CV drivers breaking the bar at the entrances to village. If people cannot stop and understand “down, up, go” can they manage tasers!

  3. cannot take a taser into the clubhouse

  4. While I appreciate the warning we can't lock ourselves in at night and hover in fear. As in the day time one has to be watchful about where they go and always be aware about what is going on around you. Does anyone know that we have a sex offender living in Century Village?

  5. Grace:

    You are correct in saying
    we have a sex offender
living at CV. I can go
    further and say we have
at least 3 living in CV.

  6. pink taser, over $350 - DUH !!!
    TERRIBLE INVESTMENT !!!

  7. I guess one could ask why the CV condo associations approved the offenders either buying or moving in with an owner. The UCO background check would have found the record.

  8. Capt John, you may not be good at showing up at parties, but I have to admit - you make me chuckle!

  9. It's time to arm the CV guards and give them orders to shot all gate breakers , no exceptions. $100 bounty might correct the pole breaking situation in a hurry.

  10. "legs diamond"? Could the "intrepid blogger" be back?

  11. All gate breakers must be taken to BBQ Island for a stoning session. Only ladies will be allowed to do the stoning. Next week the men can stone the property destroyers. Stoning will only take place, in the event, the guards are bad shots. Mike

Re Sex Offender, would you care
    to elaborate on your source?
Have they been convicted of a crime
or suspected. In a community of this size, many rumors are abound..
    Could this be another?

  13. The way to PREVENT "breaking the bar" is to have the OFFENDER and ONLY, HIM(HER)SELF, repair or have the bar repaired themselves, THAT DAY (at least, PROOF of the beginning of the process of repair)! FAILURE CONSEQUENCE - ENTRY DENIAL !

(ps: a 17 year old drunk college kid, at HARVARD (MASS), urinating in "public" = "SEX OFFENDER")

  14. CHRIS: TKS !!! PRUDENT NOT to show-up: Someone might have a PINK TASER, like .....

  15. One of the sexual offenders is only 49 years old.

  16. One offender was found under the zip code 33417 to be living in Century Village. Not a rumor. What are they checking in the background checks?

  17. If we can do a criminal search on-line and get a credit report for $25, why pay UCO $100 ? It's hard enough selling apartments as it is.

  18. To both Nike and Grace:
Thanks for the site, did check...
there were 2 with village addresses
both were "Released" I guess that
    means no further supervision etc.
    However I DO QUESTION,the "Label"
as Capt.John, indicated, that others, are too painted with the
    same brush...Under age;
    (older male, under 18 female,with
    or without consent =Rape, qualifies
    as well under this catagory..).
    My concern is "Pedophilia"
    We have many children visiting..
not all( the pre teens ) are under constant supervision..should we
    be concerned?
