unlike the pretender to the throne; The Nutmegger.
Elaine's solution, while not devoid of error, is undoubtedly novel in it's approach to square filling.
Shortly, I shall Post the correct solution.
Good try Elaine; it simply means that my next X-Word will be even more devious.

Nutmegger your position is in no danger, you have solved 100s of puzzles, I did 2/3 of one. Dave sure gets cranky when we point out his errors. I think Dave should make you a crenellated crown cut out of Xword puzzles.
