Transponders Refunds?

What is the possibility of receiving a refund for a transponder, which is not used, now that one of my auto's refuses to be abused, and it's drivers' anxiety level rises upon approaching, either transponder's lanes..?.

  1. Why don't you go through the left lane and show your pass? There are no bumps there. Many of us here in the Village are doing that. If it slows up entry in the Village for those with business reasons, that's not our fault.

  2. I now enter on the left side and show my pass. Actually, it's not bad. You will always get a nice smile from the guards.

  3. There are no refunds given on the transponders.
Transponders that do not work will be replaced but no monies can be returned

  4. To Voice, that's precisely what I
do...go through the Left or Visitors' lane...
To Ken: Perhaps my sense of humour
fails you...my purpose for my post
was to see, if many others feel as
    I do..

  5. Ken forgot to say that transponders will be replaced at a cost. I think I paid about $15.00 to replace a defective one that I had just over a year.

  6. Sorry about that. They will be replaced at N/C within 30 days of purchase.(if defective) The cost of the Transponder to UCO was $12.50 three years ago, I don't know the cost now.

  7. If we all do it long enough and tie up the traffic there, maybe the powers that be will understand it's a bad bump. It looks about six inches in width, go to approx. 15 inches; that will take the shock off. It won't cost much, just add tar to each side of it. Ask Sal Bummolo; he'll know how to fix it.

  8. Even if we make a complete stop, it's a horrible ride.
Why is it taking UCO so long to get this issue resolved?
How hard is it to add a little bit of tar?
    WE HAVE WAITED LONG ENOUGH.
    DO SOMETHING.

  9. People are starving to death in the world, freezing, and being slaughtered.

Get over it! I have a 9 mo old car and go slow. You'll survive!

What does people straving and freezing and being slaughtered have to do with speed bumps.

If you feel you want to damage your car, that's your business. Other people have more respect for the possesions that was purchased with their hard-earned money.

How dare you try and impose your personal dis-respect on other people.!!!

And who do you think you are to tell them to " get over it ".!!!

  11. It's good to know that there is a defender of the average man.

I think I am a practical person who sees many more pressing problems in life than the bump at the CV front gate.

Perhaps your attention should be applied to consolidating the many associations in CV. That's a problem worth your attention.

Then maybe we can take advantage of the economies of scale.

    How dare you !

  12. You people that are mixing apples with oranges are just being argumentive. The bump situation is minor compared to the many others that are terrible in this Village. Disregarding the bumps will not get rid of the larger problems. Perhaps if the smaller problem gets taken care of, people will be a little less disgruntled.

  13. Voice is absolutely correct. I'll comment apples, simply apples.

I HATE the speed bumps. I don't think it is small problem. I come in and out of that gate 3, 4, sometimes 5 times a day. Can you imagine the damage it is doing to my shocks?
I know we have other problems, but this is such an easy fix.
You officers that got our vote, we are asking you for help now.
    Thank you.

    (AUTO 1) AND 2006(AUTO 2) THAT HAS
NOW BEEN ALTERED, AND CANNOT BE
    USED WITHOUT PHYSICAL DISCOMFORT,
OR DAMAGE TO OUR VEHICLES..IN VIEW
OF THIS, REFUNDS OR CORRECTIONS ARE IN ORDER...SEVERAL OTHER
    COMMUNITIES,USE THE SAME FORM TO
PREVENT DISTRUCTION OF THE ARMS OR
    GATES, LEXINGTON CLUB, FLORAL LAKES
BOTH IN DELRAY BEACH, BOCA GARDENS
IN BOCA RATON, TO NAME A FEW,
ACCOMPLISH THE SAME GOAL, WITHOUT ANTAGONIZING THE USER. NO DOUBT
    MORE QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS MADE
