Hi All,
It has been announced at a number of venues, that due to the ambiguities surrounding the Mobile Postal Service Van; that a "Special CV Dedicated Line" has been opened at the Roebuck Road Post Office, at certain times of the business day.
It is not clear that this is true.

PHYLLIS HERE,
I WAS AT THE POST OFFICE YESTERDAY AND ASKED WHERE THE SPECIAL LINE FOR CV IS. I WAS TOLD BY THE CLERK THERE IS NO SPECIAL LINE FOR CV.
IT WAS A RUMOR AND THEY HAVE NO IDEA OF WHERE IT CAME FROM.
SO I WAITED ON LINE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. WHILE I WAS THERE I MET ANOTHER RESIDENT FROM CV AND ASKED HIM TO PLEASE RELAY THIS TO THE ADMINISTRATION .
IT HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED AT EVERY SHOW AND IT IS INCORRECT.

Have any of our BLOGGERS had a similar experience?

This was not simply a rumor passed from one person to another. It was anounced at the UCO Delegate Assembly on 1/9/09 as an understanding reached with the post office as an accomodation for having lost the post office truck coming to the clubhouse due to the reassignment of the lady who had been servicing us. George R. Pittell

ReplyDeleteFolks, y'all got to know that UCO tells lies...and that includes you too ( or is it to? ) Dave.
ReplyDeleteHi A Nony Mouse
ReplyDeleteJan 22, 2009 11:07:00 AM,
Thanks for the kind words.
Like most folks, Dave makes mistakes; can you please document the "lies"
of which you speak?

I was the person on line with Phyllis. I told George what we were told. His understanding is that there will be only on Mondays with a bus going to the post office. He also said that he would clarify the matter.
ReplyDeleteSubsequent to my posting I was told that this service is only available Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9-10AM and can be verified by the Haverhill post master
ReplyDeleteRazzle dazzle 'em tell the residents anything that will increase UCO popularity and get votes.
ReplyDeleteI think George imagined the whole thing...
