Did I actually close the "Q&A"? I no longer am able to access it.....has it been
eliminated, or is this a technical error? Thanks...

  1. Hi Bettie,

All I know at this point, is that Ken did not take it down nor did John take it down.

That leaves Bob Cohen, who is Tech support to the CV Web Site.

I shall inquire in due course.

  2. How about replacing the Q&A with a Facebook page?

  3. Hi Hipster
    Apr 12, 2009 11:22:00 AM,

Whose Facebook page would you put there?

How about we put the BLOG in that space?

  4. The Blog is a great idea for the Q&A

  5. The Blog? Providing the same principles apply as currently exist! At one time, it was suggested (at one of the meetings) the Q&A be used for questions,
    dealing with village issues,which
would be answered by those at UCO
with bonafide knowledge of the subject matter. Since to date, this
has not occured, one could draw
    several conclusions.....

  6. Hi Bettie
    Apr 12, 2009 3:41:00 PM,

Yes! very preceptive; there are those at UCO who would resist this idea until "the last dog dies"

It was just a suggestion on my part, certain modifications may be necessary; time will tell.

  7. I have worked with Bob Cohen all weekend and it is now up and running. Is anyone going to use it? Bob Cohen is the host of the CV Web Site. John Saponaro is the Webmaster of the site. It is there and really should be used for what it is intended for and that is info for the residents. The web site is a wealth of information and many residents know about the Web Site but do not know about our Blog

  8. Georgie Boy and Frau Carole destroyed the CV Q&A by banning all discussion of CV business and anything that disagreed with The Georgie Boy Administration . Dave, I think it's time to post acceptable posts on the CV Q&A according to Georgie Boy and Frau Carole. This will be enlightening to those who are new to the Blog and give them the understanding of why this Blog was started.

  9. What does the CV website cost, what does the Q&A portion cost? is Bob Cohen flat fee or did it cost extra for “all weekend”?

  10. Many thanks to those who have restored the site....Yes, in pre
blog days, it was the ONLY game intown, however, as we all know, it became NECESSARY for Dave, to
create, the form, we now use to
    communicate, on ALL SUBJECTS...
It's a NEW YEAR AT UCO, let us begin by using the Q&A for Village
    issues...with factual responses,
    and not opinions..

  11. Hi All,
As to the issue of cost for the CV Website and Q & A channel, I do not know.
I do know that the BLOG costs nothing.

What makes anyone think that the policy of what is acceptable on the CV Q & A has changed one iota?

  12. Bob Cohen is not only Tech support to the CV Web Site, he is also the host. He is paid a nominal sum to keep it up and running. My involvement with Bob over the weekend was emailing back and forth until He fixed whatever glitches caused the problem. The cost was NOTHING. The site was started by me back in the Kurt Weiss Admin and John has carried on with it and has done a marvelous job. Remember, the Web Site is not like Channel 63 (CV only) Our snowbirds can keep up with all the goings on in the summer with the CV Web Site., IE on it is the UCO Reporter, Meetings to be held , Info from the VP's, etc. The Q&A is only one small part of the Web Site and I believe that it can be used to help the residents that know about the Q&A but do not know that we have the Blog.

  13. If CVCC club has presence on the CV website, then the Blog should also have space or reference.
IE On the QandA page with all the rules “If you don’t get an answer here try the Blog - - “

  14. Thank you for answer Ken and your efforts. Cost is one nominal sum + one full time employee shared with the Reporter. Is the website part of the Reporter and Editorial Meetings? The website is a great asset to the Village.
