If you want to know how to slime someone see Phil Shapkin’s drivel in the UCO Reporter, (its ‘drivel’ Phil not ‘dribble’). I would like to apologize for Phil to all the people of British origin in the village.
I have no knowledge of the letter that offended Phil, and after reading his piece I still have no knowledge. Phil adds a variety of gratuitous insulting assumptions - UCO Reporter what were you thinking! Phil could have printed the letter and answered points in a civilized manner but he was too busy winning the war of 1800s. Phil used almost a whole page for a one-sided attack – that is yellow journalism.
If anyone has the letter please print it here, there are probably good points on both sides.

You must be one of those old school residents who operate on loyalty, win at all costs, spread rumors, whatever it takes.
