Responsibility

Responses to entries on the BLOG may be mixed. Especially when the information being placed before the “people” is sometimes troubling. It is not easy to write about issues that concern the entire Village, even more so when the “facts” or “truths” hurt!
Unfortunately, “those who can” must step up to the plate even when they would rather remain silent and avoid the “personal bashing” that occurs as a result of the efforts to INFORM! It would be simpler to “stick their head into the sand like so many, who choose not to concern themselves with the extraordinary challenges facing our village.

We have lost many who have walked away from their own Association, simply because the conflict “isn’t worth the fight”. We have voters who chose to not exercise their constitutional rights to VOTE.

So what are we to do? Speak out when issues require it. Stand up for those less able to withstand the rigors of criticism and speak out for the good of ALL?

Please remember. The effort is to inform, instigate discussion among the many, seek opinions not yet heard from, because this has, over history, enabled good intellect to participate in the development of GOOD suggestions and recommendations that may be worthy of such effort. Please do not shoot the messenger!
