The PBC Cooperative Extension Service will be conducting a workshop titled, “Healthier State in 2008.” A panel of registered dietitians will be available to answer questions. After the presentation, you are invited to stroll through the botanical garden and visit stations set up with activities and educational information. (+ valuable coupons for places like Wal Mart, I believe)

Tomorrow is not the best for the nutrition presentation it clashes with the Senior Expo at the S. Fla Fairgrounds and the Herb Society at the Mounts Botanical Garden.
Senior Expo 10-4 Tues and Wed.

Hi Elaine, how was it?
If you thought I was nutty before - That was an eye-opener workshop, lots of info and recipes, marching to ‘sound off’ health chanting, chasing around the gardens answering questions, winning prizes. A crowd of young dietician trainees + others were tough competition but I netted a pedometer, box of cereal, and $10 walmart gift card. Definitely energizing.
Sounds like you hit the health jackpot. Good for you. You're not nutty, your fun!
