OKEECHOBEE LIBRARY CLOSING

The books I picked up this morning at the Okee branch library will be due back on November 3, 2008!!! The library will close from April 1 to November 1.
The manager has sent a notice to the UCO Reporter so look for that in the next issue. Snow birds plan accordingly.
I guess the CV Library will become quite busy.

There are at least two branches near CV that may be used in the interim.

The Royal Palm Beach Branch, 500 Civic Center Way, take Okeechobee west of CV, 790-6037.

The Main Library, 3650 Summit Blvd., south of the Okeechobee Branch, 233-2600.

For directions, go to Mapquest.

Am I reading this right? Do you mean the library right outside our West gate is closing from April 1 until November? That is crazy. Why is it closing? Is it because of the Palm Beach County budget cuts - because people voted "Yes" on that stupid amendment?

Twas said at the delegates meeting that the closing was for renovations

Don't forget the North County libray in PBG. Easy to get to. Wonderful programming.
