Parrot

Dave, Every time I try to vote to name the Parrot I get "This page cannot be found" I have tried many times but have been unlucky. My vote is Paradise Pete. Is anyone else having trouble voting??

Hi Marilyn,
No other reports of problems voting.

Of course only 3 votes have been entered thus far but the process seems to be fine.

Do you know where your INTERNET Security level is set?

Dave, where do we go to see what our security level is set at? I use to know that and believe I changed the level once, but can't remember where I found it.

Hi Chrisj,
We are going to check on two settings; "Privacy" and "Security".

At the top left of your screen you will find your Browser Menu Buttons:

File / Edit / View / Favorites / Tools / Help

(I am assuming you are using some flavor of the Windows Operating System)

Left-Click (LC)on;

Tools, then. in the Dropdown Menu (LC) on INTERNET Options, then in the Dialog Box, LC on the Security Tab and move the slider to MEDIUM.

Go back to the Dialog Box and LC on the Privacy Tab and move that Slider to medium.

That's it.

Setting these levels to low can admit undesireable hitchikers; setting them to high can virtually shut you off from the INTERNET.

PS; For Marilyn, you might try the same procedure, as to high a setting could be cutting you off from the Voting Widget.

I had my security on Medium-High, but have now moved it down to Medium.

My Privacy was set at Medium so I didn't have to change that one.

I also have a checkmark on "Turn-on Pop-up Block".

Hi Dave I am set to medium, tried again today but same thing. I do not want to lower my security so I will leave it at that, until it really become a problem.
