Spammer?

Is that Shakadal at the end of the traffic thread another spammer invader? I'm not clicking on any mystery item.
Is CV traffic actually worse thean other developments, or does the rudeness just make it feel that way! Lets ask the Safety Cmte.
Note town of Drachten got rid of all signs and lights and is safer, because people respond to conditions not signs!. Also see traffic calming on Wickipedia.

Now!!! If we could expunge UCO and get professional management, all would be looking up in CV.

Hi Elaine,
The issue of Traffic Control in CV, is what we used to call in the Military; a CACF (Category Alpha Cluster F***).

Larry Kall refers to "When UCO took possession of the roads), well, just try to find a Deed showing such possession.

The Perimeter road, like the Lake and Canals belong to WPRF, we, by agreement, have the responsibility of maintaining them.

In order to have legal signage and traffic control, the County Commissioners would have to formally adopt our Village roads and streets as part of the County Roadway system.

Well, guess what, these roads, for the most part are not up to Code, if the county adopted them they would have to bring them up to Code, who do you think would be taxed for such an upgrade; in fact to make all that happen we in CV would almost certainly have to be transformed into a legal Municipality. My research continues on these points.

As for the traffic lights at the two main intersections; if enhanced by cameras, which would capture a violaters face and License tag, when the Citations and Fines start rolling into folks mailboxes, trust me, their hearts and minds would quickly fall in line with Law Enforcement.

The efficacy of these Traffic Control Cameras is well proven.

Dave,

Have you in your research found out how much the traffic signal and camera that you propose might cost to purchase and maintain?

If we would use the county standard as a guide would the two intersections qualify? I believe but am not sure that the county does consider cost as part of the evaluation when proposing a traffic signal. I have also heard but cannot confirm that the number of fatal accidents at an intersection enter into the matter as well as other considerations. Is their such a standard available to read?

I know that if anyoce can find the standard you can.
