THE NEW STORY...
Blog Party: Thursday, May 8 at 6:00 pm
Location: Panera Bread on Village Blvd.
Menu: Self Serve, comfortable seating, soup, salads, sandwiches, good coffee, nice, clean.
Important update: We have the little room reserved. We could not get it until 6:00 pm.
I will be there at 5:45 pm.
Here is the link for anyone who would like to look at the soup, sandwich, salad menu in advance:

All of the below is how we got to the new story above......
Is anybody available any day at all next week for a very easy gathering?
We could do it somewhere very simple - like Panera Bread on Village. Self serve, soup, sandwiches, good coffee. Order what you want, pick it up - seat yourself. Stay as long as you want. Nobody bothers you. Comfy too.
It could be a very easy one. It doesn't have to be our last one - we could think of this as simply a fresh start to saying hello. No big deal!!!
Cheap, clean - easy.
Say the word. Wednesday is the only night that will not work for me.

Is there parking behind Panera somewhere in case front is usual jam.
The 8th, 5:45 , I 'll park at Walgreen's on PB Blvd, if I have to. I'm sure glad, we don't have to organize a life or death situation. Mike
You can bet your bottom

on Thursday, May 8th.
Au Revoir
Yippee!!!
We got Elaine!!!!
We got Nutmegger!!!!
I'm so darn happy!!! This is going to be much fun.
You know - they even have a little private room. If it looks like we are going to get quite a few people, I can call and ask if we can have that nice little room. I have never sat in there, but I guess it would seat about 20.
Take a walk in if you guys have time sometime this week. Get a cup of coffee and see what you think.
By the way, you can go on line and look at their menu. I think it is Panerabread.com.
I usually park over on the south side of the building and walk back (very close too). Very few people know about it over there and there is lots of parking. I hope you know where I mean.
Mikey's happy. He's even willing to park on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd! What a guy!
yeah, what a guy - DUH !!!
YIPEE - order me a roast beef on rye with a pickle and a JONES cream soda!
PLEASE call and get the little room, that is where I always go with the computer and it IS, SERENE :)
"parking" !?!?!? geeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzz
"SIMPLE BUT NOT EASY" !!!
ps: THANKS A BUNCH CHRIS !!!
Mike: you are picking-up the check right! WHAT A GUY !!!
Capt , If you can't, I will. loL
Mike, Capt, very generous of both of you (even if you don't mean it). But that's the beauty of a place like that - we'll all pay our own.
Good thought though. Maybe a secret santa will be in the crowd...
YES VIRGINIA THERE IS A SANTA CAUSE!
chris
CLAUS!
Tried Panera's myself. The food was good. My favorite is the ham and cheese on asiago bread with cheese and broccoli soup. Been there a couple of times. Students come with their laptops, mainly because it's a wifi area. Plus it has little pieces of different kinds of bread to be tasted and the students do taste them. Sorry I cannot make it; I have things to do, places to go, and people to see.
Sorry we we won't be seeing you on Thursday Flynn. But thank you for replying. Maybe the next one, and hopefully there will be lots of "next ones".
After all - it won't be complete anyway until we have Dave with us and he is running to the table to get the best seat!
I might try that Roast Beef sandwich. It sounds good.
chris
sorry -you said ham & cheese. I was thinking roast beef & cheese. DUH!!!!! (as Capt would say!!!)
