I got a little domestic this long weekend but I didn’t think the following needed separate posts so they are in comments:
1 Really smooth t-shirts and sheets
2 Aged Headlights Fix

Aged Headlights Fixed
HRV’s headlights were looking yellowed and pitted dull so I checked out the remedies.
Sale in paper, we will come renew your headlights 2 for $40.
You can buy a DIY kit at auto parts for $14
Online there are instructions for DIY using non-acetone nail polish remover, bottle 99c.
The nail polish remover worked like a charm with a towel rag the yellow and pits came off like cleaning nicotine from glass. A little wax and headlights are like new. And I still have ¾ bottle nail polish remover. I love the internet.

Bet you get up and go to the kitchen as soon as you read this to check it out.
I've been using aluminum foil and plastic wrap for years. Great stuff, but sometimes it can be a pain. You know, when you try to pull some foil out and the roll comes out of the box.
Then you have to put the roll back in the box and start over. The darn roll always comes out at the wrong time.
Yesterday I went to throw out an empty box and for some reason I turned it and looked at the end of the box. And written on the end it said, "Press tab to secure roll."
Right there on the end of the box is a tab to lock the roll in place. How long has this little locking tab been there?
I'm sharing this with everyone who didn't know this and those of you who already knew it.
Now you can look organized and efficient when you wrap the Memorial Day leftovers.
I hope I'm not the only person that didn't know this.

Hi Elaine, I didn't know about that little tab on the bottom of the aluminum foil and plastic wrap container. I've been struggling with that stuff for years. Great little post.
Something that has helped my in the kitchen, I have a white sink that gets very stained with coffee, etc. Sometimes I lay paper towels on the bottom of the sink and throw a little bleach.
the paper towels make the bleach cling. When I remove the paper towels, my sink looks brand new!
