Hi All,
As you BLOGGERS have undoubtedly noticed we have an A Nony Mouse Spammer planting Howie and George,s UCO Reporter articles in every comment stream.
While I am hesitant to remove Posts/Comments, I believe the Spam, in excess of one entry should be removed.
I will shortly start a Poll to get the sense of our BLOGGERS on this issue.

was told that Myron Solomon
was the leader. I was also
told that according to the
by-laws that Lowenstein and
Silver have 30 days from
day they retired to retain
their elected position as
President and Vice President. Is there any
truth to any of the above?

Get rid of the spam.
I think that it is important that it say on. This way everybody will read that both George and Howie have resigned and moved on. The more time they say it he more convincing it is. I cannot find any 30 day grace period in the UCO bylaws. What may be confusing the issue is when Phyllis Richland resigned the then president George Loewenstein said that he would not act on it ( replace her) for 30 days.

In CV, unfortunately, Politics tends to take precedence over substance.
Myron continues to pursue his 10/11/12.....million non existent dollars.
Howie apparently wants back in, despite his clear resignation, the tape being played on Channel 63 at 9:00am and 6:00pm, tells his entire story.
There is nothing in our Bylaws allowing 30 day do-overs. When you resign without specifying a "When Effective" date, it is effective immediately.
Let them rally and let them run, that is their Democratic right.
The Delegate Electorate will sort it all out!

Dump it Dave. George and Howie’s stuff is on the front page of the UCO Reporter, about 8,000 copies, and on CV website, at least there you know it is accurate. When an unknown person spams it (at least 14 times) you do not even know if it has been changed from the author’s version.
Enuf nuts for a sundae, CV has the Graffiti-nonymous, the Angry Volunteer Nonymous, and now the Blog Spamymous. All somewhat disturbed and frustrated.
You claim that this blog is open to anyone. With this goes some posting or multiple postings at times perhaps irritating . Are you now planning to censure? Not good for someone planning to run for office. Does this blog give you an advantage over anyone else running for the same office? In fairness perhaps you should turn over the running of the blog to someone else until the election is over. Just a thought.
anon 3:58 look to the left it is a poll for everyone, it is not the CVBloggers decision. We can all read the the proper version of the spam on the front page of the UCO Reporter. Posting something once is fine, breaking many threads is not. Any spamming on my posts would be removed by me, myself, and I.

I realize this is futile, but if you register you could also have control over your posts.
So far I have not removed anything except Nigerian scams.

This Blog will not censor or filter anything, save overt pointless foul language, Pornography or Criminal solicitation or action.
However, one Posting/commenting is enough; multiple posting of identical material is pure spamming and waste of Bandwidth. One posting gets your point across.
So, if the vote so indicates; the repeats will go, and one Posting will remain.
As far as this BLOG giving me an advantage in the upcomming election; I have clearly stated that ANY candidate is welcome and explicitly invited to Post their Bio and Campaign material on this BLOG.

This is taking up unnecessary space on the blog. This information seems to be all over the place. It's in the current UCO Reporter, and as we all know, that goes all over the world.
I like the Harry Potter theory. Good find Elaine. We should take a poll on that (down the road of course, less congested).
