Dave: It takes a great deal of courage to make a new start. I'm sure you can do it. This would be a good example for everyone that uses the blog. To disagree without namecalling or attacking should be okay.
Deletion of the blogs that "attacked" either side would be a super move. Many will support your actions. You have mine already. You are a good person.

dave, this is phyllis. i think a removal of all past blogs is a very good thing. it will give us all a chance to take a deep breath and exhale all the stuff that is bad and inhale a new beginning. take it from where it comes but personally i am tired of all the vitriol and i am sure i'm not alone. if we can unite with one voice how great would that be?
its me phyllis again. someday i will learn how to use this blog correctly. i posted under stews name by mistake and took it away.

On the contrary, Mike, I support letting the sunshine in. What I am suggesting is we remove messages that were attacking and namecalling. I fully approve of being able to disagree. I don't think it's necessary to call someone a foul name with the disagreement. English can be spoken, and no matter what the subject is, it can be said without any nastiness. Perhaps we should all speak as though we were running for political position. We can disagree, but we shouldn't resort to namecalling.
You see, Mike? I disagree with you completely, without using a foul word.
Some fashion themselves above the fray and express themselves in passionless rhetoric,whiles others take a more direct approach and call a spade a spade. I pride myself in being one of the later.
