An Ode to Anonymous: Where ever they may hide! – by: Stew Richland
Out of the west comes the Lone Ranger – who wore a mask to hide his identity. Why? To defeat the bad guys! On the other hand we compare this to the Phantom of the Opera or stage coach and bank robbers that wear masks to hide their identities. What a wonderful tool the blog is. These people are the John Doe’s or Jane Doe’s of Century Village. Make statements that are bereft of fact on issues they have very limited knowledge about – yet they posture themselves as having their finger on the pulse of things. It’s a shame that these “observers” of CV don’t have the courage of their convictions and tell us who they are. how they know what they cliam to know. How any decent person could maintain any sense of credibility if they don’t have the “guts” to put their name where their mouth is should be given an award. I will call it the "CERTIFICATE OF RESPERATION "–it is granted to those anonymous “phantoms of the blog” for his/ her ability to breath!

My comment on this subject: The blog didn't hurt Phyllis. The fact that three people ran for the office, two of them with the same philosophy, divided one side of the vote in half, while the other got the full vote. Isn't it obvious that if Dave and Phyllis took a coin to see which of them should drop out of the race, the winner of that coin toss would have been elected? Stewart, relax. Let this be a time of trying to make friendship be the strong thing. Voting will come another day. Phyllis is capable and able to speak for herself. I don't think you're helping her.
I forgot to mention: I don't think that we should go around talking who's got more guts than the other guy. That creates disharmony. We can disagree on a vote, and be able to have the guts to accept not winning. That's where guts count, how you react to a disappointment. Try to hold me up and we'll see who has the most guts.
As the phanton said Phyllis lost. You would be surprise by how much the residents know about things. Phyllis always bounces back. Let her do it you are not helping her.
Stewart... You only talk this way because you are afraid of Phyllis mouth. You know what she is. I can only say when George was elected president over 2 years ago, he brought integrity and honesty to the UCO office. Not like the previously 3 administrations.
The biggest joke I've seen in ages, can I use it on my show. Madam you are hard to please, out of 13,000 people only George will do!
