YOUR BLOGMEISTER RESPONDS:
Hi Phyllis,
As you may not be aware, King George Chaired the Operations Committee meeting yesterday (Friday, August 1, 2008).
This assumption of power, done without the formality of being sworn in, may appear to some a mere oversight.
Not so, this is far more than a matter of Form VS Substance; it is indicative of the arrogance and disrespect for law that is the hallmark of King George's reign.
It presages an era of no change and a return to "business as usual" in UCO land.

How can you trust the swearing in of someone who was sworn in in March and in July, quit and walked off in a tif. This smacks of: I am going to pick up my marbles and go home. Would someone be very willing to let them back into the game. Obviously 104 people here in the village are willing to do that. There goes our audit. Do you think he will actually mean it when he gets sworn in this time?
I would like to know where and who will do the swearing in of Prez Lowenstein...Then we can see how many ignorant people we have in key positions, also the volunteers who cherish their positions. (Yes, I am a volunteer)..Your Job is so important you would vote for a man that left you and caused havoc!!!
Hey guys the election is over. The delegates chose who they wanted. That will not change. You will just have to learn to live with that fact. Like it or not.
EVERYONE NOTICE LARRY HAS NOT POSTED SINCE THE ELECTIONS,BUT HAS POSTED ON Q & A MMMMMMMMM

I AM HERE. I am just trying to catch up on all the comments by various people here on the blog. I also attended a security meeting Friday afternoon as well as checking for any any mail or comments in my file at the UCO office. I also checked to see that the entire transponder system is working OK.( Yes it was and no gate arms were destroyed Friday).Channel 63 was on the air and I fielded one phone call about problems with cable reception and one complaint at my office about a leaking toilet. So I decided that was enough for Friday.
I have a great respect for ALL the people who ran for office whether they were successful or not. The main thing is that they did run. I am personally confident that all UCO funds are safe. It is unfortunate that an electrical failure forced the evacuation of the clubhouse before the newly elected officers could be installed formally. For you historians out there? Are there any cases in history where someone assumed an office without at formal swearing in? I am also a notary and had the pleasure of conducting a wedding. I would be glad to go to the UCO office Monday morning to formally swear in the new officers if that is what people want.
