Did you notice the budget footnotes on the recent Treasurer Report?
1. Unreimbursed Legal and Engineering Fees $216,169.49 $27.53/unit
Mediation Payment due May 2009 =$200,000.00
2. 2102 Expenses $348,490
The notes do not seem to refer to anything on the profit & loss sheet, nor do they have dates? I do not remember any delegate questions.

I'm just a simple person looking for simple answers.
1.How much did we pay Blaugh ?
2. How much did we pay Tannyson ?
3. How much did we pay for the UCO clubhouse ?
4. How much is in the bank for paving reserves?
5. When will UCO publish what checks were written each month ?
In the interest of open-ness, what is the final settlement of Levy's clubhouse?
How much insurance money was received?
How much money did we contribute ?
How much money was spent and on what?
Please, just simple answers, and no accountants, they just lie.

It's a long run from NYC. If we are going to continue to give UCO money, they better be more responsive. ( answer these questions on this forum !!!! )

My two cents looks like this:
1) I am President of Greenbrier C, a 56 unit building.
2) Seacrest Services does our Accounting and generates a complete set of financial statements monthly.
3) Any Unit Owner who so desires gets a copy of these statements; if they have a computer and so desire, they get the statement automatically by Email; no questions asked!!
It is very simple; we are talking about Unit Owner money, TRANSPARENCY is mandatory.
Try going to UCO and asking the Treasurer for the data, then tell us all of the result of your request; Probably we should not publish the numbers in this Forum, as it is read all over the world.

What happened to the much requested audit before the special election ?
Just because George was re-elected, are we to think that an audit is not needed ?
Why should the bamboozled delegates OK another UCO budget when we don't know how our money was spent in the last UCO budget.
Delegates, YOU are responsible for
telling the unit owners how their money was spent. You don't have carte blanche to go along with whatever is presented.
Unit owners, it's YOUR responsibility to demand answers from your delegate.
Nothing is going to change until we all take on our respective responsibilities.

I believe that the audit has been Done.
While I personally am not overjoyed by the fact that it was done by the Butner firm; nonetheless it was done.
The next audit will be done by another Auditor to give us a "new look at the data"
If you go to UCO and request to see it, you shall be served.

firm, one that represented the
Village, eons ago, no one seems
to know why, they were replaced...
too many years have since passed...
and now THEY are being re-hired?
Are we establishing a pattern here?
Will in 10 yrs down the road, the
Butner firm, re appear?
Are we looking at some "Creative
Accounting" here, much like the
Mortgage companies,that initiated
this practice in the late 80's
and continued,putting the housing
market in the present condition!
I repeat, accountants lie; and get away with it down there in Palm Beach County cause the people in charge are criminals. ( 2 county commisioners in jail, the rest under investigation.

I asked the UCO Treasurer for a simple answer to the entire cost + estimates to finish, for the new UCO bldg (2102). Here is her note “Attached is complete list of monies spent for 2102. This is the best I can do – we do not have a staff to break this down any further.” It was a list of about 80 payments up to 9/4/08 which includes the payees, some payees are recognisable some are not. Only 7 lines indicated the service provided. No estimates for equipment, décor, and landscaping.
I think if you go to UCO for the other questions this is the type of accounting you can expect.

however she and the Officer,s? on their own took it from another
account, it should have been done
at the Del. Meeting, on a new vote
if any positive comes out is that any yes any major money Decision,

anon 6:13, I hope your grasp of the budget mtg is better than your grasp of my Sept 15 post. It was factual.
The sensible people went to UCO before the budget mtg to get detailed information, and to give the Treasurer more time to be prepared.
I referred to the fact that I could go to UCO for financial information - that is better than before.
I have been to many UCO meetings since they became open - that is also better than before.
When it comes to finances,all must remember it must be the truth and nothing but the truth,or you could end up in a courtroom stating it on a Bible and added words of so help me GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Giacomo, I admire your innocence, but I don't want to see you hurt when you go down to CV. You see, UCO/Levy is the local Mafia at CV, and you know how they operate; lies, threats, intimidation, buying off the judges and state officials. So keep quiet or Levy will unlease his lawyers to destroy you, and UCO will make your life pure hell.
Innocence?, I am no better or worst showing my humanity, when growing up those who choice what I will call the other side of the street which at times looked like
the convient way to go however I noticed (1) thing that stood out they always looked over their shoulders and the look in those Eyes gave even me the creeps, Intimidation is and especially now in this time of my short Journey of Life is nonexisted, again I nor
anyone has the right to use the tongue as a sword to any one, that is probaley the worst, what ever we do every morning we have to go to that mirror and look into our own eyes some may be disappointed
by our actions and behavior to others, just walk outdoors, where basically we are all in the same
situation, and the idea to agree to disagree, has become right down to contempt. I wrote enough to all Health and Happiness!!!!!!!!!!!!
