Does anyone else have picture that sporadically goes to black and back, or shatters into changing small rectangles, I see this on ch 43 and 39 (that is all I watch) on 2 different TVs. 63 looked ok.
I phoned Comcast yesterday, they will send someone Saturday.
Dave, do you think it is interference from new lift station, or, or ?

Hi Elaine
9:42 AM on Feb 5, 2009,
The pixelation of which you speak was active on Channel 43 on my set last evening. It is now gone.
This sort of problem is usually due to reduction in signal strength somewhere in the signal path.
It is unlikely that a visit by a Comcast Tech. to your abode will help, but good luck.

Hi Elaine,
PS:
Any sort of local RF interference can indeed cause pixelation, so while unlikely, the telemetry antenna on the lift station does indeed transmit from time to time and could cause problems.
Dave
PS Comcast didn't show up 11-2, they lied about trying to phone me. I was home emailing and cooking for 8 hours. They also said servce man would return later in day, never did, no call, nuthin'.
I sent letter to our rep about that and another similar previous failure.
