A letter in the UCO Reporter(The Mail Bag) May 2009, Page 6; castigates the Comcast Contract negotiation process, for not being more open. There are many questions asked, which will in due course be answered, both here and in next months Reporter.
The letter is signed by "Loretta Skelly"! Does anyone know who Loretta Skelly is? She appears nowhere in the records of Palm Beach county as a Unit Owner in CV. Can anyone tell us who she is???
Of greater import, anyone who has been involved with Contract negotiations with multiple bidders in the game knows that there are many issues of a confidential and proprietary nature. So it was in this case; every bit of information that could be released was released in a timely as possible manner.
Every meeting that could be Open, was open.
The service rendered by the Committee and the Officers of UCO in this effort was an Exemplar of how a UCO Committee should operate in serving the Unit Owners of CV.
So Loretta Skelly; step up and volunteer, see how the sausage is made.

Don't worry Dave. "She" is probably just a shill for George Lowenstein's camp, who are against any real progress at CV.
Sounds as if you could handle some cmte effort Loretta, Now is your chance to get in the shoreline erosion project, then you will not wonder what happened at the end. UCO and the Infrastructure cmte still appear to be ignoring the excellent $13,500 study that recommended several approaches and work to start in 2007. At a recent mtg people came to discuss Andre’s info but the cmte had not read his information. Do they postpone everything and say nothing at every mtg? Pat Blunck seems to be in charge of belated erosion control using the least recommended and ugly method.
Loretta note, all minutes are available for Cable Cmte mtgs since it began last August, the Infrastructure cmte has managed 2 sets of minutes in the same time. They are an $8M+ expensive accident waiting to happen.
