I know none of our BLOGGERS want to see political statements on our BLOG; however, realistically, it is the only “wide scale” outlet that your BLOGMEISTER has to reach The People, I have no campaign committee.

Ms. LaBonte on the other hand has the considerable power of the “UCO machine” on her side. Some of them have orchestrated a broad campaign using components of the Usher Corps to distribute campaign literature and to make telephone calls on her behalf. A sitting VP of UCO regularly extols her praises at meetings he conducts.

She uses her position on the Usher Corps to glad-hand attendees at every Clubhouse show; while UCO causes WPRF to deny me the same privilege.

Claudette is using her UCO machine support and selected Ushers to distribute two letters; A “Dear Delegates” letter and A “Claudette’s Challenge” letter.

Claudette’s Challenge states that “She listens, and pays attention, to our problems”, “She analyses the situation and finds a solution” and she persists until her goal is reached”

Those of you who read this BLOG, know that your BLOGMEISTER make every effort to listen to Unit Owner questions and research legal references in response.

I do not blindly follow any Party or Regime; every issue is examined and researched; these are the skills I would carry forward as Vice President of UCO.

1) Expenditure of thousands of our dollars to build a place in the Clubhouse Parking lot for a Mobile Postal Van. Where is the Van?

2) Advocating for the position of the Bus Company to let the bus engines continue to idle at the Clubhouse and at Publix, thus burning our money on gas while the Bus sits and goes nowhere. The cost of this nonsense is in excess of $25,000.00 per year, and pollutes our air.

3) Losing her temper regularly at the Clubhouse with patrons and our Security force.

Fine work indeed and to be expected to continue if she is elected as UCO VP!

I wonder what the outcome of the election would have been provided the Settlement being offered 4-4-08 had been offered 2-1-08. Could it be this Administration KNEW for the last 60 + days that the mediation was mandatory, just AFTER the election??

Would our President have received his MANDATE of 60 % of the eligible voters?

Why there is no advertisement in the REPORTER

Several questions and/or comments have been made to me or about me to my friends and acquaintances regarding the lack of advertising in the REPORTER. The nomination took place on February first and ordinarily the Editorial committee meets in the afternoon after the Delegate Assembly meeting and the deadline for submissions is a few days later.
I was unable to meet that deadline and did not want to ask for special privilege to submit an advertisement. This just isn't right. Another person informed me that it had been said that I would not pay for an ad. That simply has no basis for truth. Mr. Lazar is an honorable man and would never have said that, and no attempt to place an ad was made. I may very well not win this contest however I will lose it in an honorableway IF that is the will of the Delegates.

Sorry Howie; Slide Shows and a scrolling text roll were up to date in 1953. Today, TV consists of people, programming, interviews, live coverage; tune through the other Channels Howie and look what has happened to TV in the last 50 years. Your channel 63 causes residents to cease watching simply because they tire of watching ….it should not run for 45 minutes.

Phil Shapkin, Ombudsman! This was an egregiously wrong political patronage appointment!

MYRON...I received overwhelming unanimous support at the Delegate Assembly to go to Arbitration to recover the $11,000,000.00 owed to the Residents of C.V.

The truth is that regardless of how you feel about the Arbitration, Mr. Solomon's skill in creating frenzy, WITHOUT ONE BIT OF EVIDENCE, EXCEEDS HIS ABILITY TO PROVE HIS POSITION before three Arbitrators at all. And without any justification, WE LOSE! Why have we let him stir our emotions to follow such blatantly useless opinion, unsubstantiated by facts and totally againts the very Agreement he was "sworn in" to uphold. Have you read the Millennium Agreement, Mr. Solomon? Lest we forget, as you did YOUR OATH OF OFFICE, the agreement was the basis for YOUR frivolous Rent Strike, being thrown out by A FEDERAL JUDGE. How may we presume anything else you do has ANY merit or value. We must not overlook the lie to the federal Judge about the Delegate Assembly approving the legal action BEFORE the suit was launched. What utter nonsense, the minutes DO NOT Substantiate this wild assertion.

POLITICAL DIRTY TRICKS

Howie Silver, Myron Solomon, and Phil Shapkin do not know!!! or respect WPRF rules against campaigning on Clubhouse property. After ½ hour of gladhanding and after they had given their ‘Good guy, Bad guy’ election sheet to everyone attending the Ombudsman Mtg., Prez Lowenstein announced in the meeting that IAW WPRF rules there is no campaigning allowed at the Clubhouse. What an incongruity that they attended a meeting that was 100% about sticking to the laws, rules and regulations.
The acrimonious sheet is just another reason that “CV is much too big to be advised and directed by amateurs.”
Do we need people who do not know that they do not know how to conduct themselves.
