Is anyone setting up a meeting for the delegates to meet the candidates before the election? Two would be even better. There could be one before the nominations for those that want to be nominated and one for those nominated on a day before the election.

Based on the officers non-meeting, looks if Officers Cornish and Lapidus should ask the Executive Cmte for help keeping big picture things running.
Many of the committee chairs and people working in the UCO office ARE helping to keep things going. Most of the committee chairs are also on the Executive Committee. VP Sal Bummalo is there. What in your opinion is NOT functioning at this time? In 11 days the new officers will be in place.
Somewhere on this blog Phyllis Richland affirmed she was running for president of Uco. There are many new owners in the Village. They might not know of her accomplishments and qualifications. Putting her bio on this blog, or for that matter, on the forum, or both, would be appropiate.
Larry if you read the topic of this thread "Is anyone setting up a meeting for the delegates to meet the candidates before the election?" has that been done? There are also questions about the proper locations for rallies, are officers going to start chairing mtgs, etc. I know the everyday tasks of UCO continue. I am talking about top level items before the elections.
If there had been a quorum at the special officers meeting, a president would have been chosen and the president would have picked two vice presidents. Since that did no occur a special election is now necessary. In a perfect world there would be lots of time to have a meet the candidate forum. This may not occur right now. It is necessary that UCO have functioning officers by August 1. There will most likely be some qualified candidates and the delegates will have to chose from the list.In eight months another election will occur.
