Dave knows UCO. Dave knows modern business.
Blog voices say “We need more professional management.”
Dave Israel has the most understanding of that.
I like all his thinking points especially:
4. Run UCO like the $5 million business that it is.
8. Place professional talent in key UCO positions. For instance, finance and accounting
3. Computerization of all UCO operations and records for more accuracy and faster, more uniform service.

Happy 6-month birthday of the Blog, since 12/30/07. How many answers have there been in that time from Dave Israel, CV Blogger. Hundreds, all packed with most up to date and accurate information plus Dave’s analysis and common sense. The guy is brilliant, and always caring, helpful, and giving his best even when waiting for hip surgery. Now he is bionic too :-0
That still doesn’t express just how great he would be for UCO president, and how he is just what we need right now. Grab him with both hands.

My vote is for Ken and bionic Dave. With both of them let's get off the couch and shape up – physically, intellectually, and institutionally (UCO) – and begin to make some informed choices about our future. Lincoln didn't say it, but might have agreed, that the worst part about being fooled is fooling yourself, and as a village, we were doing a pretty good job of that for a long time. We are too big for all amateur management.
My vote is also for Dave Israel and Ken Davis. Two pros who would do a world of good for our community. Please vote for Dave and Ken. You won't be sorry.
Dave's our man. Let's all stand up to second his nomination Friday to show him we are all behind him. Also get everyone out to vote for him next week!

I agree with all my fellow anonymousouses; we should vote for Dave and Ken, two of the most nicest and knowledgeable people the village has.
I too recognize that David and Ken are indeed trustworthy and knowledgeable about the problems that occur in our little piece of paradise. I am sure they will do their best. Their best in the past has always been superior to our most brilliant(?) officers.
