Hi All,
I missed the following questions, which were buried in a Comment stream on the BLOG:

THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS DESERVE ANSWERS:
1. When was the perimeter fence installed ??
ANS: The perimeter fence was installed by the Developer of CV (Levy Et-Al).
2. Did the developer install the fence ??
ANS: Yes, as above.
3. Did each respective association install a fence ??
ANS: No.
4. Why wasn't a fence installed between the properties of each respective association and the golf course ??
ANS: Because the Golf Course was part of the CV Campus, until Mr. Levy sold it.
5. Previously, couldn't some "golfer" from outside just walk into Century Village ??
ANS: Yes.
6. Now that the golf course is closed, what has changed ??
ANS: With the removal of the fence around the Haverhill side parking lot, we now add access by vehicular traffic; that is the only change.
7. Who has the authority to make this wished-for fence a common expense ??
ANS: You, the Unit Owner has that authority, by way of your Delegates at the Delegate Assembly.

Well said Dave. I hope PBC code enforcement keeps after Waldman to cut the long grass and pick up the trash on the golf course.
Dave:The developer did not install the fence.
Hi A Nony Mouse
Jul 23, 2009 2:04:00 PM,
Can you please provide a bit more info.?
The earliest brochures advertising CV claim that it is " A gated Community"
Hard to establish such without a perimeter fence.
