If you're willing to travel to State Road 7 (12 minutes from CV without breaking traffic rules), last Sunday I saw "The Great Debaters" starring Denzel Washington. He played a professor in an all-black school in 1930s Texas grooming students to debate Harvard students. His students won the debate and continued winning for the next nine years to be excellent human beings, at the same time, teaching other people to see that color doesn't matter. This all on the day before Martin Luther King's birthday. Wow! Don't miss it.

n-lightened, thanks so much for passing that along. Sounds like a movie that will be a must see for me. I hadn't heard of it. Am truly a sucker for movies about those great teachers/professors who help students to change their lives. They are very inspiring. Some terrific older movies of that type that I have enjoyed are Kevin Kline in The Emperor's Club, Richard Dreyfuss in Mr. Holland's Opus, Meryl Streep in Music of the Heart, even Sean Connery in Finding Forrester.
I know this subject is not related to condo issues - but we all need a little balance of serious business and fun! Thanks again for the suggestion!
