CLUBS & CLASSES

At the Clubhouse today I was pleasantly surprised to be offered a list of all club and class meetings, they only had February, but can March be far behind. There were items named Evan Net, CBA French, and Bon Ami, anybody know what they are? They are not in the Reporter as far as I can see.

If any of this is correct, I will be amazed indeed!

Hi Elaine,
I bet they are some great new clubs being started by our wonderful French Canadian neighbors. Maybe one of readers can let us know.

The last one got me. I've heard of Bon Appetit of course, but Bon Ami I though was a cleanser.
Hope we find out soon. Sounds interesting.

Bon Ami means Good Friend.

See, you can always get an answer on this blog! What more could people ask for?
Thank you Bon Ami.

Thanks for all the input.
It’s Evan Net alright! Dave, tu me fais rire. Maybe CV has a secret.

CV may be more French, suave and sophisticated than we thought. The whole CH theatre just sat politely thru Carmen in French. They didn’t talk or bitch or leave! Amazing. (They didn’t sway or faint like the Manilow audience) Of course, once they were outside they were pretty much as godawful as ever. As long as no-one is runover it’s a good night.

Elaine, you give me such a laugh. It's that French language, I'm telling you it hypnotizes. It sounds so beautiful, it could make even the toughest of the tough swoon. Just like you said, the CV audience was captivated!

Also, am glad to hear that no-one was run over!

I have read that for an organization to be posted in the UCO Reporter, the said organization may send a brief notice to the paper about their events, their meetings, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
