Fine Tuning Channel 63

If the powers that be want Channel 63 to be taken seriously, here's what I'd do:

People don't watch it because they see it as nothing but plugs for the community bulletin board. Every five to ten minutes, they should put up a practical message - a meeting date, deadline for ID registration, clubhouse etiquette - if a time interval is out of the question, then put one of these things on after the 10th message. That way, you don't have need for the scroll; who notices it? Who says, "Oh, did you hear that the new governor of New York is just as freaky as the old one? I got it from the scroll on CNN"?

If you have a suggestion for our administration, make it politely here. Hillary's Veruca Salt act is not working.

It is suggested that you go to the UCO Office on any day and ask to see the number of requests that come in for things to be put on Channel 63.

The fact that you may not like what is there does not mean that there are not other people who are pleased with the channel and the information that is presented there.

Did you know that there are people who leave the Channel 63 playing just for the music?

No community channel will EVER satisfy everybody.

All the time Channel 63 was off the air the most common complaint was that there was no way to know what was going on in the village.

The new governor of N.Y.S. is a democrat, so you are just being redundant.

I have been advised byt VP. Howard Silver of UCO that it is looking for General Manager for Channel 63.
The pay is the same scale as any other UCO volunteer with the same benefits being give to present UCO volunteers.

All you people who want to make Channel 63 better this is your chance to do it.

Good suggestion Larry. Maybe if UCO offered to double the salary. That might do it.
Let's see, let me add that up now on my calculator (I know a little bit about accounting you see). Adding............... ok now,
Double of nothing is.... NOTHING. DOUBLE NOTHING!!!
That should quiet down some of the troops!

I will suggest to VP Howie Silver that UCO consider three times the normal pay scale to see if they can find a qualified applicant.

This blog has become a comic strip, and it's not even funny.
