On the matter of Notice of Meetings, the following extract from FS 617 is germane, the entire document is well worth reading, if you would understand certain UCO related issues.

Title XXXVI BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS
617.0822 Notice of meetings.--
(1) Unless the articles of incorporation or the bylaws provide otherwise, regular meetings of the board of directors may be held without notice of the date, time, place, or purpose of the meeting.
(2) Unless the articles of incorporation or the bylaws provide for a longer or shorter period, a special meeting of the board of directors must be preceded by at least 2 days' notice of the date, time, and place of the meeting. The notice need not describe the purpose of the special meeting unless required by the articles of incorporation or the bylaws.

This reference appears to be the decree regarding provision of transportation to CV. IE. The Busses.
What is the connection To Notice of Meetings issue?

Ok, I think I see where you are going here,
the Case is between Plaintiff: Village Management and Defendant: Waltham A, who did not want to pay for the busses.
UCO was an "intervenor" on the side of Village Management.
The reference to FS 718
being directive upon Condominium Association Waltham A.
Since UCO was/is not a Condominium Association this reference was not to UCO.
This 1983 case is hardly dispositive in the issue of notice of meeting by a FS 617 Not-For-Profit, especially in consideration of extant law to the contrary.
This, I think is a big stretch, and more ammunition will be required.
