A rising tide of discontent regarding the name choices and the voting process is stirring within the Electorate. I assure all our readers that the counting of the votes is highly secure.
As regards the names; I propose that we take the top choices from this vote (probably MOJO and PETE) and then after a "Call for other names", that we re-run the Poll.

Voting twice is possible, but not from the same computer, as the computer IP is logged to avoid exactly this problem.
If you own two computers, indeed you may vote twice.
I share your concern as regards the fact that close to 800 unique visitors have come to the BLOG; collectively they account for thousands of visits and close to 30,000 page views, and yet, as you note, only 26 votes.

Hi everybody,
I am just running in and running out. Very busy Saturday so far. You will all be glad to know that this morning, my eye doctor changed my prescription and uped (is that a word?) it very much. So I now have a sample new contact lens in and new glasses on the way. Hopefully when I get everything you won't hear me complaining about how small the comments are anymore.
Ok back to the thread. Sorry Dave. I'm rushing.
I love the description of Mojo. Thank you so much ElaineB for explaing that. Really cool description from a really cool gal.
However, I am also crazy about Salty (Mike's suggestion). The reason I like salty is because this blog was started by our fearless leader who is a little bit salty. One who is never afraid to voice his opinions. Yes - I would call that salty.
The choice belongs to everyone. I will go along with any decision.
I have let go of Pete (sorry Capt John) and now am in favor of Mojo or Salty.

To those of you from the New England area, MOXIE I believe was a soft drink. Any of you out there remember it or remember drinking some MOXIE?
I believe that it had a very distinctive taste.

Well dear Annonymous, if you are so fed up with the lies and half truths on this blog, why are you spending so much of your precious time reading this blog. You must be enjoying what you are reading considering you had to get through 14 comments before you could post the 15th comment. I find that a little curious.
And the very weird part is, this particular post is simply a fun post, totally harmless. It is nothing serious, nothing that anyone could possibly be offended or upset about. It is just a bunch of friends passing a little time and enjoying a chuckle together.
So I say this. We live in America, home of the brave and land of the free. Remember those words? If you don't like what you see on this blog, then don't read this blog.
And, if you care to join us, then that's ok too. Different opinions are very welcome. Be careful though, you might find yourself getting very hooked on this blog! Letting it all out feels oh so good!

I love Moxie! Good one Capt John. I think the Blog should be renamed "Moxie" in honor of Dave. Now that I think about it, Moxie fits Dave more than Salty.

Mojo parrot is adorable but that doesn't mean he is forever. I thought the got-lime-iguana had a certain je ne sais quoi! They could rotate and be renamed quarterly. OR if they do not bring in many new bloggers who post they could be FIRED!.
