Thank you, Elaine (B), for your suggestion about taking a break from "everything" and relaxing for the three-day weekend. That's just what I'm planning to do.

Love, Flynn

Hi Elaine,

The BLOGOSPHERE never sleeps; if we did; The Plumbers, Tile people and Highschool reunion crowd might return to life;

Especially with Larry Kall salting the CV Q & A with Non-Questions just as it is about to experience it's richly deserved demise.

Dave,

When I post certain questions on the Q & A I do so under knowing that I could be banned but I feel it is my right to do so and am prepared to accept what might happen or not happen as a result and plan to continue to post what I feel I need to. I also participate in your Blog and Chat and appreciate the opportunity that you give me to do so.

I personally hope that both the
Q & A and Davesblogandchat continue to be a factor in the village for some time to come.

I was talking about a Summer slowdown.
Flynn missed the small print, only bloggers who have posted >75 posts (not comments) are entitled to a break. What 3-day wkend, is that a Passover rule? Or did you have to take the plastic covers off the couch while the Pope visits. (Jon Stewart is pretty funny.)

Elaine are you leaving us for the summer months?

DAVE: 100% on the money (as usual)!!! "... and the TRUTH ..."

TERMINATE WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE !!!

Hi Capt. John,

There are a few like Larry and Jules and Fernando who work with the Supreme Arbiter of what is "Appropriate".

As the UCO controled Q & A runs down to it's last few lines, they drop a Non-Question in to keep it alive.

There are a few exchanges on Fluff and Papp which extend the appearance of activity for 7 more days until the next salting occurs.

Unfortunately, that channel costs us money every time they call Technical support; this BLOG on the other hand is unrestricted by the Supreme Arbiters ludicrous preachings on what is Appropriate and it costs the Unit Owners nothing!

Long live Freedom of Speech, Long live Democracy and God bless America..and shut that CV Q & A down.

Mike, no personal info on the blog. One of us could be an axe murderer.

Dave, Contrary to your thought I do not "work" with the "Supreme Arbiter"

Is it possible that this blog feels threatened by the very existence of the Q & A?

Why is it that this blog takes items from the Q & A? Could it be that not enough material is being generated on the blog to keep in going? Remember the expression every knock is a boost. Every time you mention the
Q & A you are essence keeping it alive. If your intention is to see it cease to operate then the best thing would be to ignore it.

Just a thought.

Hi Anonymous,
This BLOG is not threatened by anything.

The CV Q & A is threatened by anyone who has an opinion at variance with the current UCO administration.

The CV Q & A would not allow you the right to Post anonymously, nor to criticize the absurd machinations of UCO.

Just think about your basic rights and how the Supreme Arbiter of all that is "Appropriate" would take them away!

Elaine, the blog can't take a summer break. We would all miss it too much. It has become a small part of our everyday life. I feel good just popping in every every single day if for no other reason than to say hello.
So hello my blog friends, and a restful evening to you too!

If anyone thinks that the Q & A will cease to operate and this blog will be the only place where people can pose questions is kidding themselves.

It might be also noted that neither outlet reaches the majority residents in the village and most people could care less about what the final outcome might be.

The Q & A has a small number of contributors and this blog as evidenced that only 30 people voted on the issue of anonymous also has a small number of contributors. Vocal but small.

It appears that this blog is anti UCO as it is presently constituted, which is OK as there should be what the British call the loyal opposition.

Slightly more than a month ago this blog was close to ending but was probably rescued by the ability to post anonymous postings.

Such a near death experience could come again to both this blog and the Q & A.

Dear Anon y mouse

I completely disagree! We vehemently support UCO, just under better management, or improved Transparency, or allowing the Delegates to decide issues.

Constructive criticism is meant to openly recommend change, for that is truly the “loyal opposition” of which you refer.

Any government requires the “peoples” voice to limit it’s self-indulgence in it’s own ego and omnipotence.

Especially when they believe 60 % of eligible voters constitute a MANDATE.

Had they the vision duly required to be a major force in this Village, they would strive to include the “loyal opposition”, rather than the blame game that we have come to expect and love.

But you must admit, I sign my name to these comments, why don’t you………afraid of retaliation by UCO. It that the way it should be? Are you proud of this Team? Certainly, you are entitled to your view but….

That’s my view.

Hi A Nony Mouse,

This BLOG is NOT Anti-UCO.

UCO serves a number of critical functions in CV and the proper operation of UCO is important.

The current Administration is guilty of serious Mission Creep well beyond their Brief; that is a serious problem.

However, having said that; this BLOG is Anti Suppression of the Democratic rights of the Unit Owners of CV.

This BLOG is Anti The Supreme Arbiter of what is "Appropriate", telling us what we can question, who we can Email, who we can or cannot criticise, who is Banned for Life and what subjects are "Appropriate"!

This BLOG is Anti Secret UCO Operations and poor judgment.

This BLOG is Anti Wild Legal adventures squandering 500K on a wild goose chase.

Well, I hope you get the point; The CV Q & A is on the wrong side of History; Information shaping and control as an instrument of Propaganda, has been discredited many times in Global History.

Just remember what a vibrant channel the CV Q & A once was prior to the Election of Mr. L and the installation of "The Supreme Arbiter" of all things "Appropriate"

Now, how about a few Plumbers, Tile people and places to have high school reunions!!!

I am capable of doing tile work. I have a friend that is a plumber and another friend that does catering. So far we have received no business leads from the Q & A. Can you help?

Hi A Nony Mouse,

It is not within the scope of our BLOG to take on Handyman type Ads.

Are you Licensed, are you Insured...?

It is just to risky; may I suggest that you place an Ad in the UCO Reporter, you will get much wider publicity in CV than on this BLOG.
