You are all full of hope and ideas. Please explain your actual plans to make life better in CV. Andre says ‘there is so much to be done’, there’s the ‘this olde house’ group!, Ed wants us to stand up, pull together? Flynn wants us to be constructive.
Thx for the electrical and plumbing specifics Mollie.
I predict that UCO will spend the next two years building and equipping the new UCO building and not much else, I don’t think CV is ready to eliminate UCO per Ed yet.
Hi, welcome to the blog Flynn, you picked a good time.

What changes did you make, it would help us all if you told us what worked and what did not. Lots of ideas may be good for the future.
Great post Elaine. Very good question.
I also welcome Flynn!
Chris
One concern Hurricane electrical
outage, my building lost power for
if I remember apprx. (6-7) days,
while others in CV (1) or none
because of the Grid, setup? Now to ans. elaineb, I had at one meeting
proposed those remaining for the
summer , buy a grill to heat up
anthing?,by a Generater to activate
(1-2) refrigerators? buy several
boxes of solar lights set to blocks
of wood and each unit gets (6)
none got done. Now that these Grants
were denied to those who worked
to get them !, why not try some
innvation, ex. could be Hastings,
northamptons, =25? buildings we
get a price to have them put in
could the price be better? etc.
working with the (4) VP and Uco
could extra budget money be loan
back from ehere it came from the
associations to do a needed project
so all buildings could have this
great addition for those living
on upper levels?
Lots of space for RVs if you want to put a little effort in. I cruised the village, there is land that does not belong to buildings, easements mostly grassy. There are stretches of recreation grass that belong to WPRF, such as behind Kent pool bldgs. There are areas of blacktop, and what a lot of space could be created by making a road one-way like Chatham Island. I also like Larry’s best suggestion, a jewel “fill in part of the lake” that’s what I call thinking outside the UCO box. Awwwright!
A line of shiny RVs can be quite handsome and prosperous to look at, even tho’ Jules thinks its shocking, worse than a glimpse of stocking! eh Jules.
All ideas should be saved, no matter how unlikely you think they are now.
However, I think I will stay close to home because of Larry’s comments on security.
Yes my name is Harvey, Ha RV get it!
