There a lot of guesses as to the exact number but NO ONE KNOWS FOR SURE. People come and go at various times for various periods.

Of what I saw last June and July there were hardly more than 20% to 30% people present in the Village. The gate stats might give some indication. Andre

Hi Bob,
The following is the data packet derived from Census 2000 for Century Village West Palm Beach; remember, only permanent Residents are counted; Snowbirds are counted in their Home state:

Some years ago UCO tried to do an IN HOUSE census and one of the items that was looked into was part time residents. I am not sure what the calculations were at the time.

For what period of time would be considered "snow bird residency". Many "permanent" residents may leave for two or three month. Does this them make the snow birds or are only those gone for at least six months snow birds? Yes there are figures on entry at the gates and yes the figures are less during certain months. Yes we issue fewer transponders certain months. Yes more seats are available for shows during certain months.

There is no doubt that there are months where there are less people here. How many less ??????????
