Movie Reviews

Someone mentioned doing movie reviews for UCO and I thought why not try it on the blog. If you have been to our or any theatre lately , how about dropping us a sentence or two and letting us know of any recommendations.

I was very sorry to have missed "The Great Debaters" with Denzel Washington when it was playing at the Regal. If anyone hears that it will be coming to our theatre, could you let us know.

I noticed the other movie review comment, it would not work for UCO Reporter, copy must be in by the 7th of the month and paper comes out after the 20th. Any movie would be long gone.
Tons of reviews online.

I went to the movies the other day and saw "27 Dresses." It was definitely in the A class of movie. It was a good story and the actors were excellent in their parts and the audience were definitely interested. Something worked.

By the time one of our advance scouts sees a movie in theaters and reports on it in the Reporter, it'll come out on DVD and be ready for showing in the Clubhouse. All we need is someone skilled enough to predict which movies they'll pick (they have to be half weatherman and half the woman on "Medium") and someone with enough energy to drive down to the theater once a month to see those movies (do they still have senior rates?).
