Elections

Just so everyone is on the same page . Delegates are voting for

(Preident ) 1
( Vice Presidents) 1 (If Howie Silver resigns) 2
( Treasurer) ( If Tetro resigns) 1

Have I missed any office?

Mike I think you are wrong about Treasurer.
I have all the CV docs in CV but I am far away. Someone pls refresh the details for candidates. Eligible candidates should be in CV 9 months of the year.
To be nominated from the floor you need 10 delegates to nominate and second you. Can alternate delegates also nominate? Anything else?
I only know one candidate who can grasp the big picture, and understand all the detail and bring sanity to the current complexities. That is Dave Israel, founder of this blog, caretaker of all that is good about CV. When I have a day or two I will list all the good things about Dave.(Shameless plug for ‘our Dave - CV Blogger’ for president.) TIA

hi, i think we are voting for one president and if howie silver turns in a written resignation we will need to fill 2 vice president spots of different term remainders. as of now we have not received a written resignation from the treasurer.

i think i've got it right. i'm sure someone will correct me if not.

to be nominated from the floor you need one to nominate you and 10 delegats to second. yes, alternates can vote as long as they are listed by the association as having the right if the delegate is not available.

There are many great voices on this blog. What a team it would make, with the help of all the dedicated volunteers we have.

Anon7:22 . It will not just be the people who run for the open offices and those elected, who make UCO run properly. It is the many volunteers that are the backbone of UCO. Without them the officers would not be very effective no matter how much they tried. At this very moment these same volunteer are helping the remaining UCO officers to keep the operation running. Some of these same volunteers will not choose to run for the vacant offices. Some of the people being suggested will choose to not run for various reasons. I would predict that these same volunteers will continue to serve UCO no matter who the future officers may be.

HI Larry,
I believe the Village is looking forward to greater harmony and corporation among candidates, regardless of who will submit to the nomination process.

Even apposing view often brings the requisite debate to more fully understand the item of discussion.

More involvement by residents of this Village would only bring fresh and varied views permitting the DELEGATE ASSEMBLE to enact the course to be undertaken.

Once that decision has been made, full support of ALL the parties that debated the issue would provide for a smooth transition to reduce the obstacles ahead during the implementation process.

Together we shall overcome.

Dave Israel - Are you going to announce you are running for president and put a bio out soon. I don’t think your future plans blog conveyed that you are running. Many bloggers would like to post your info at their associations and let everyone know you are the best.
