Gray skies are gonna clear up, Put on a happy face
Anyone who is still mad should stay home until they get over it.
Remember anything that comes out of Wednesday is very temporary. When people are calmer there will be a delegate mtg where real decisions for the next few months will be made.
Any UCO replacements on Wednesday should be given a pledge. “I know this is only temporary, I will mend fences wherever I can, I promise to keep UCO running steadily, no tricks no major changes”. I'm sure they will do what is best for the village with due consideration of delegate wishes last Friday.

Amen. Any person temporarily filling a vacancy does not have the authority under law to make policy changes, but as per our Bylaws, is obligated to carry existing policies into effect and to act in accordance with them.
Randy, I am not is disagreement with your statements but would like to know where in our bylaws is the reference to the two items you mentioned.(existing policy & policy changes). I would like to look it up.
Could the new, temporary president propose policy changes in any manner?
Thanks.
ARTICLE VII
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF OFFICERS
A. PRESIDENT -
.....
He shall see that all orders and resolutions of the Delegate Assembly and the Executive Board are carried into effect and shall act in accordance with the policy statements voted on and approved by the Delegate Assembly.
Rod Tennyson is of the opinion that temporarily appointed officers have no authority to create policy or to modify existing policy.
Aditionally, as per the UCO Bylaws, the Executive Board and Delegate Assembly have the exclusive right to approve or amend proposed policy statements, resolutions and orders.
Thanks Randy, I guess the next eight months will be a learning process for all of us.
Larry,
Why do you limit the learning process to eight months. Optimistically speaking, this process should last a lifetime.
There are a lot of people out there that have given their time and effort to UCO, but they learned the wrong things.
Re-learning is going to be a challenge for everyone, volunteers and unit owners. Wishing for a successful change for the better.
I don't see this as a revolution; I see it as a re-organization.
When I was younger, only a few days younger than today,
I never needed anybody's help in any way.
But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured,
Now I find they've changed my mind and took away the doors
