Now that the Delegates of the Delegate Assembly have asserted themselves that all meeting should remain open and properly
"noticed", I would encourage everyone that can, to attend these meetings. This is truly democracy in action.

WHAT ABOUT THE VOICE OF THE SNOWBIRDS???
Bob B
Well, Snowbirds can call their voting delegate in their building to let them know how they feel. They don't have to be here in person.
plcruise....that's B S. Most of the voting delegates are either snowbirds or away on vacation. let's get real. things are moving too fast for my liking
Looks like the old regime is HOPING to get back in POWER
Well maybe some buildings should not be abandoned for months on end by their delegates. Another voting rep can be appointed.
plcruise.....that's all well and good. We have enough of a problem getting people to administer the condo association. Trying to get alternate voting delegate for us is a problem year round
Instead of all this in-fighting, we should work together for the common goal of our unite owners.

Century Village is not a part-time community, and to expect to run it part time is not acceptable. Things happen when they happen, I am up north July, August and September, that is what I want and to expect CV to run around the snowbirds is NUTS> If seasonal residents want to be involved (as I do) call your association and get someone to vote, or better yet, get back to CV if you are really concerned. Don't laugh, I know a couple who has done just that. Good luck Phylis, I have called our president and we have discussed the upcoming election. Elaine, I love your positive thinking. Where is Bob M. and Jean Dowling, have heard nothing from them?
Thanks, Ed. Not all notices are put on our bulletin board, so thank you for notifying us via the blog about the coming meetings. Another good step in ensuring that meetings are publicized and open to all.

Bob M. and Jean Dowling may just be tired of the blame placed on them for all things. One anonymous gave full credit to The Loewenstein administration for opening the clubhous........in 7 weeks after they were elected? Really!
History will record the terrific job all volunteers have done, but these two are clearly entitled to above and beyond the call awards. Remember the hurricanes, and 35+ year old clubhouse, from which they helped us recover.
Hi Bob B
WHAT ABOUT THE VOICE OF THE SNOWBIRDS??? (he said)
Don't you think Mr. Loewenstein should have decided to not run for an office from which he intended to resign, in the first place?
It has been said that he has considered resignation for months!
Months, generally means two or more. The election was only 4 months ago?
Had he been clear he was tired of his position and chose to not run, the "snowbirds” would have had choices, however his untimely decision showed no concern for this Community, and even a disregard for a smooth transition that must now take place.
Fortunately all Associations have delegates and alternates and even one last way to resolve the problem. The President may temporarily appoint in writing someone to fill-in. This requires the corporate seal on this letter to become effective, Questions? Call UCO for the procedure. (561-683-9189)
UCO must recover from his ill-timed disregard of “we the people”. No company can permit vacancies to degrade the function of company responsibilities, and neither can UCO.
We shall overcome this bump in the roadway of life, rest assured.

Right on Norma! I agree with every word you wrote.
