A new Beginning on Channel 63

Please notice the beginning of change resulting from the July 11, 2008 Delegate Assembly meeting.

Channel 63 now contains more meeting notices because our corresponding Secretary Avis Blank has complied with the intent of open meetings and published a list of those meetings.

Notices were posted on all Association Bulletin Boards at the direction of the two remaining Vice-Presidents Bummolo and Cornish with candidates Biographies.

Executive Board Member and Security Chair Al Mclaughlin has made the security meeting agenda available to comply and it too is now on Channel 63.

The delegates should realize the beginning of change is in the air, and compliance has begun in part THANKS to those named above!

All interested in adding their agendas, please place requests in the folder at the UCO office.

Ed Black, temporarily posting to channel 63.

Hi Ed,
I want to thank you for putting so much of your valuable time into updating the information on Channel CVTV 63.

It puts down the absurdity being spread by some that no one on Earth could handle this job other than Mr. Silver.

In due course, a number of people will be trained in this work and hopefully form a CVTV Committee; no more "single Points of Failure", should one person walk away from the job.

It is hoped that this Channel will improve steadly and that input will be obtained from the Delegate Assembly as to what our Unit Owners desire on our community TV channel:
News delivered by live people, Movies, Interviews,
Live Event broadcasts...There is no limit, if our Unit Owners want it.

So, thanks for your efforts in laying a new baseline envisioning tomorrow.

Dave Israel

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the people who volunteered to keep channel 63 functioning. First was VP Frank Cornish in consultation with VP Sal Bummalo.

Three people came forward and offered their help. Dave Israel,Ed Black and Ken Davis. I also asked and received help and advice from Sadie Lovinger. Because I had some knowledge on how we got channel 63 back up and running 3 years ago and where some the the programs and equipment came from I was able to contact the proper people for advice and council and together we managed to get 63 up and running again. I was also able to arrange for a teacher to come and instruct the new volunteers on how the software works.

Our residents made it very clear that they wanted channel 63 operational and with the help of the volunteers who came forward it was done. It will now be up to the new officers in conjunction with the old officers to chart the future of 63 which has much more capacity to inform and entertain. I am glad that In was able in some small way to help.

Again thanks to,Sadie Lovinger, Frank Cornish, Sal Bummalo,Ed Black, Dave Israel and Ken Davis and most of all to our residents that encouraged us to move forward.
