UCO SPECIAL ELECTION

Hi All,
I note with great satisfaction that Phyllis Richland has chosen this BLOG to make formal announcement of her intent to run for President of UCO. I hope other Candidates will also announce in this channel.

I have received a great deal of encouragement to run for President. IF I am nominated at the Special Delegate Assembly meeting of 25 July; I herewith announce my intention to run for President also.

In support of my potential candidacy, I herewith publish my Biography.

Dave,
I congratulate both you and Phyllis R. for seeking the presidency of UCO. I feel you are both well qualified, competent persons who would be a great asset to CV in future management and administration, and in dealing with WPRF on our behalf.
I would encourage each of you to consider engaging a professional condominium management person, who is properly trained in this type of work, and is certified by the national condominium managers association. While we have many well educatated, apparantly qualified and caring persons as residents of CV, we need to remove politics from the management equation. Establishing UCO as a governing board to whom the professional condominium manager would be directly responsible would, I feel, be an ideal situation.
Let us all hope we can emerge from this distressing situation better for the experience, and in a position to carry CV in to the future in harmony and with effective and caring, competent management.

If you run for president and do not get elected you are not going to be a vice president. You could run again in February. If you run for a vice president vacancy and do not get elected you cannot run until next February. This is a formal election, the President does NOT choose the vice presidents.
