Victory is ours! Meetings WILL
remain O P E N!

That day, Friday July 11, 2008, that will live on in the hearts of the people and Delegates of the Delegate Assembly.

We must acknowledge the efforts of those who placed our rights above the Administrations’ attempted “closing” of all meetings.

Thank you Phyllis Richland, who led the charge to restore democracy, followed by the truly eloquent statesmanship of Randall Borchardt, who countered beautifully all attempts to JUSTIFY such utter nonsense of Closing Meetings. Lest we forget the extraordinary support of the “DELEGATES” who STOOD UP FOR their constituents and VOTED overwhelmingly in support of the restoration of the understanding of just what our by-laws required.

I find it interesting that PRAVDA ( CV Q&A )official news arm of the George L. Administration has printed nothing about the latest delegate vote and the resignation of commissar George L. and V P Silver.

Hi All,
The CV Q & A costs this Village money for Technical support.

It's draconian Posting restrictions make it a channel that serves very few.

IMHO It should be shut down.

I don't think it should be shut down . Many CVers have difficulty getting on the blog and they have no problem getting on the CV Q&A. The rules can be changed ,making it an open forum which does not ban and abuse people for speaking their mind. The cost cannot be that great. The Blog is great but CV should have it's own official site as long access and info are unfettered. Mike

I would assume that any decisions about the Q & A will be addressed in the very near future. I do not think that it is number one on the to do list. What might make sense is to haver some method of input as what the our residents feel the
Q & A should be or not be. Part of the problem might be that a Q & A is different format than an open forum. Should it be any part of UCO operations? Who will control it, if indeed control is desired. Part of past problems were that the Q & A SEEMED to be dominated by a few posters, whether it was true or not. Some people felt that they were attacked on the forum. On the other hand Dave may be right, shut it down and let people use other forums. Mike could also be right that the forum is much easier to use and follow. hat ever is decided there will be some who will not like the outcome. As Ed Black says-this is my opinion, what is yours on this matter?

Larry said ‘Q & A SEEMED to be dominated by a few posters,’ Q&A was dominated by CaroleS who never understood that a CV forum Q&A format required a professionally impartial moderator. (Blogs are different). CaroleS banned people, wrote her own opinions, her own prejudiced rants, insulted more people, and would publicly lie about what others believed. Disgraceful.
Her rules also prevented posts of any relevance, that is why Q&A fizzled.
