Welcome Mag, I think this is the first time we have had this question, note we bloggers are not officials of the village.

Bring your deed.
If you look down the left sidebar of the blog you will find CV links, they are largely based on the contents of our newspaper but if you go to Infolinks you will find useful phone numbers (area code 561) such as:

Our volunteer advisory group - UCO (United Civic Organisation) Location, 24 Camden A, 561-683-9189 Open mornings mon-thurs, ask them to mail you “Welcome to Century Village”

WPRF I.D. Office, our Clubhouse they have a “Welcome to the Clubhouse” brochure.
640-3154

Florida Power & Light
697-8000 • 1-800-468-8243

AT&T (our telephone provider)
1-888-757-6500

Water Utility of PBC Customer Service
740-4600

You should also phone the president of your building.

Oct 10 is between Yom Kippur and the weekend – many things closed. On Fri Oct 10 UCO is open from Noon to 4pm only.

Mag, many people living here do have shovels, I think they bury money in the back of their condos?

Welcome Mag, Elaine was not kidding when she said bring your deed, when my husband and I got here we almost didn,t get in because we didn't have our deed which contains your certificat of approval, thank goodness the real-estate office was open and they were able to get a copy. Be sure to get a UCO paper, it contains helpful info. I found it hard to make friends when I first got here, be patient and get involved in a few clubs and activities, the people are really great.

Forget the UCO Reporter, it's mostly lies. Go through the Dave's blog archives and make up your own mind.

Now Now we are progressing with new directions and attitudes, sure this forum is the best for all however let the UCO office do the duties they are mandated to do so the new people at least talk to a human person instead of a monitor
related situation. we must all stay focus and things will work out

Congratulations Giacomo, well said. The feelings towards one another at this point are better than they have been in a number of years. Fortunately, the people that get upset and start attacking other people for their disappointments are no longer blaming the "other guy." This action will only cause further accusations and namecalling. Be calm. It's working fairly well. Keep up your good work.

The UCO Reporter is presently online. You can get to it with your computer by going to centuryvillagewpb.org. The entire UCO Reporter, page for page, is there for you to peruse. It's not the greatest, but it has news for us. There is a lot of information regarding phone numbers, meeting times and dates of various committees, etc.

phantom otb, thank you for your
comments, but I must write I do comment on this forum however I
do it from the North (6-7) months
and with respect to others that may be frustrated in their writings they are there and,see and hear things I don"t, even though that is no excuse to use the tongue or print towards anyone in a bad way. I am sure thoses volunteers do good work, I make my
observations of the temperment thru this blog which to me is superior in form and info, and is always accepting suggestions.
That is why I not ever speaking to
Dave, Ken, and other bloggers on this forum Ed i have met, I do have enornmust respect for the work they do and hours to make this a great info. place to go to.
