A new idea may be tried. A direct "Contact Us" form for questions you wish to ask UCO, about subjects that may not be appropriate for public airing on the BLOG.
Your query will be directed to a subject expert who will reply by Email directly to you.
In the Sidebar, under Mojo the parrot, is an example of this "Contact Us" form. It is not the approved version, as UCO may wish to impliment it elsewhere.
Thus, this form is just a test to solicit your opinion of the concept.
Your comments will be greatly appreciated.

I was about to post this yesterday. Must be telepathy, hope they make it work. The ‘button’ could also be on the main CV website.
What are the most useful services UCO could provide:
1. Give out their email address and answer questions by email and on the Blog and Q&A.

I agree, this would be a great service, much needed and long overdue. How is the "expert" who replies chosen? Is he/she a UCO-appointed person, and if so, by whom?

I must tell you that I question this approach; it is a good idea, but to be executed in the dark, a Cyber equivalent of "Come into the UCO office and we will answer your question"
It is a fair question to pose as to who will answer queries about:
FS-718, FS-617, FAC, ULDC, Clerk of Court Filings, Tax Collector, PZB, Sun Biz Site, Code Enforcement, Legislative Affairs...Etc. Etc...,Etc...!!
UCO has never demonstrated leadership or strength in the area of hard research with a few exceptions, they are computer phobic.
I have offered many times to conduct clinics on how to ferret out information but they remain very much an NIH enclave.
We shall see.
