By establishing this blog at the very end of '07, David Israel created an atmosphere of hope. 11 months later, after the political hacks have had there chance to use the blog for their benefit, and the hanger-ons of those hacks used this blog for their self-serving interests, the blog now appears to be in a death throw. Personally, I feel a lot of truth came out and the information seems to have been well absorbed by a lot of unit owners. To those of you that have gotten active in helping to make this a better place, I say thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We have been experiencing a “speed bump” in the tone of the very FEW. The current vote on anonymous clearly confirms this fact. We need to “pull together” in these extraordinary times, and accusations and belittling comments do neither.
I implore everyone to remember “we are friends and neighbors” and are all in this Real Estate downturn together.
Lastly, every comment will find its way to the Internet and, unfortunately all negativity, impacts the reputation of this great community.
We may continue to disagree on issues, but set aside those personal attacks and bashings as they cause all of us to “Lose face”.

Hi Rosa,
Thanks for your kind and thoughtful words, and your expression of concern.
My only concern has been some of the really nasty religious slurs, threats of destruction and of course the use of the accusation "criminal" from cover of anonymous darkness with out presentation of proof.
Believe me when I say that this BLOG will never exhibit the restrictions like those of the CV Q & A,
because it will not be controlled by UCO with their halcyon view of CV paradise, and their inherent arrogation of power proclivities.
It is certainly possible to leave things as they are, but on occasion an extremely gratuitous slur or accusation may be removed; yes it is censorship, but I would appreciate your thoughtful views on how "wide open" the filter should be, or if there should be any filter at all?
I can live with Anonymous "Wild-Wild-West", but some folks are easily offended.

From the previous time to what you call extraordinary times, what has changed? What does the real estate market have to do with the whole matter.?
And what some call negativity, others call the TRUTH.
What some call "nice", other call hypocrisy.
What does freedom of expression have to do with any of it ??
If you don't want negative comments on this blog or anywhere else, I ask, what contribution have YOU made to make UCO a LEGAL organization.

It does not matter to me whether there is an anonymous or not; whether people are hiding, half hiding, or have the courage of their convictions. When the politicians don't get their way, and are not winning their points at an election, there is a tendency to put the same issue on the ballot at the next election, or to call a special election.
Everthing that I ever had to say and still say regarding this village and mostly UCO I have the necessary documentation in my possession.
And yes, I am a person that definitely hates hypocrisy and dishonesty.
You have been a shining light and you have my continuous good wishes admist hypocrisy and darkness.
