I received the following Email from a CV Unit Owner; I will not publish the name for reasons of privacy.
The Email contained some ideas on what criteria should be used to keep this BLOG "reasonable," "rational" and "civil"
The following would be criteria for removal of the offending Post or Comment:

1. Religious, racial and personal slurs
2. Unsupported criminal libel
3. Capt. John's capitalised inanities and incoherent ambiguities designed to provoke and irritate
4. Blatant inaccuracies

Dave,
You and others publish a wealth of information for us. That's what I thought this blog was for. Good idea to get rid of the negative things. You can disagree with something without being nasty about it.
Thanks to all for all the positive postings and knowledge that's on here.
These seem reasonable to me but I think we are heading down the slippery slope of censorship. It worries me. Remember when Frau Carole silenced all on the CV Q&A Mike

This concerns me to Mike, but I hear much criticism about some who throw around words like: "Nazi", "Criminal", ""Kick Backs" and imply that some of us are "Communists" and "Terrorists".
There has to be a more civil way of criticising or disagreeing with others.
Intelligent people can disagree without mudslinging. Keep in mind, this BLOG record is forever!
Fear not; Plumbers, Tile people and High school reunions will never become the focal points of this BLOG.

I must admit, I'm guilty of calling some UCO officers and the past board Fascist but if people and boards act in this manner ,they must be called on it. This is America.

I not always enamoured with Captain John's postings, but I think it was very unfair to single him out for simply espressing himself the way HE sees it. My God, the person that wrote you that e-mail is against personal slurs and then proceeds to personnaly slur Captain John. He also has a right to his opinion.
How does the e-mailer know Captain John's remark were designed to irritate ?
You see, as Mike said, this is a slippery slope.

I cannot see any oversight taken however we know that anyone can read and get a feel of who and what we are,and in that situation,
I would hope that all to at least put into print of which the others have suggested, we truly are better for this if we use only what we all have imbedded in our Souls, and use Commonsense approach in our writings!

Most of our BLOGGERS manage to use reasonable language without reference to such terms as "Nazi", "Criminal", "Kickbacks"...Etc....!

Actually, "Kickbacks" is exactly what one of our BLOGGERS called the anticipated monies that a Content provider will pay for the right to serve the CV Campus with TV and other Broadband services, such as INTERNET and Digital Telephony.
These fees will be negotiated by CSI and they will be "Kicked-back" to you, an I and every Unit Owner in the form of reduced monthly fees.
If any particular Unit Owner prefers not to benefit from these "Kickback" fee reductions please supply your name an address and we will atempt to exempt you from these benefits and services.
Please get your facts correct before Posting or commenting.

If someone finds Information and Public debate "Terrorizing", whose "problem" is that?
Any Citizen has the right to bury their head in the sand and ignore the passing parade; but, they should not be surprised if something sneaks up and gives them a nip!
Now some "A Nony Mouse" has me going to jail; what would you suggest a reasonable response to such sniping should be?
Not knowing the psychological makeup of the individual, I would be a fool to respond at all; a rotten egg is tossed, just let it lie, it carries it's own aura! It does not point at me, but rather it points back at the thrower.
It's Civil enough, it has not crossed the line compared to what has been in this BLOG before.
Keeping this BLOG going, and accepting the odd snipe now and then, falls into the category of "No good deed goes unpunished"
