WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE BROWSER

Hi All,
It should not surprise our BLOGGERS to know that they are an eclectic group. This is reflected in the broad choice of Web Browsers that they use to "surf" Cyberspace. There have been, to date, 57,574 visits to our BLOG.

The BLOG statistics reflect the following Browser usage:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BROWSER..............NUMBER ..........PERCENTAGE

Internet explorer .......45,785 ................79.52%
Firefox .....................8,888 ................15.52%
Safari .......................2,449 ..................4.25%
Netscape .....................262 .................0.46%
Chrome .........................84 .................0.15%
Mozilla ..........................45 .................0.08%
Seamonkey .....................35................. 0.06%
Opera ............................21 ..................0.04%
Blazer .............................2................ >0.01%
Camino ..........................2 .................>0.00%
Netfront .........................1 .................>0.00%

While the vast majority of our BLOGGERS use IE, a significant group do not; what are your experiences and opinions of these other Browsers, I think many of our BLOGGERS would be interested.

Info from my techy kids, I am am still using Internet Explorer which they hate (frequently under hacker attack).
In preferred order: 1. Firefox, 2. Safari, 3. Chrome
All the above can be downloaded online for you to test.
Chrome is Google and has many nice new features, intelligent address bar for search, type less.
A son and his wife have different browsers, this avoids collisions on sites which remember you, eg Facebook, when they had the same browsers they would have to log the other person out to use their own info, then it was always ‘HONEY !! did you log me out!! ‘

Google’s Chrome browser came out of beta 12/11/08. Chrome is critical to the company’s overall cloud-centric computing vision. On their blog, Google’s Sundar Pichai and Linus Upson talk about improvements such as more stability, better video playback performance, and massive gains in speed. The final version also has better bookmarking capability and privacy controls.
Maybe this will help some of the problems of Comcast semi-hi-speed.

I am a Chrome user and love it. Having your favorites always running at your fingertip save you so much time.
Google is the future of internet and with Picasa and the ability to store for free all your documents and your photos, it is a big plus since you can access them from any computer in the world. They can be shared or kept exclusive for you. Try it ...it is free Andre
