Purpose of the UCO Reporter

The purpose of the UCO Reporter is to keep unit owners informed on matters of common interest. The February UCO Reporter says next Delegate Mtg is March 6. I do not see anything in the paper about the February Mtg and upcoming nominations and voting for VPs and Executive Cmte. Huh! Are owners encouraged to participate? There is a small comment at the end of VP Cornish column. What is nominating procedure?
You have to watch channel 63 for better info: next Delegate Mtg. February 6th. Nominations will be taken from the floor.

Hi Golda
Jan 23, 2009 9:42:00 AM,

I believe that the next UCO Presidential Election will be in March 2010.

However, there is an election for Two Vice Presidents and the entire Executive Board in March of 2009.

Hopefully your BLOGMEISTER will be running for one of the two VP slots.

Please see the January 09, 2009 edition of the UCO Reporter.

In her column see "Nominating Committee"

All about the March Election.

Anyone interested in running should have submitted their Bio and a photo by now; but as Elaine notes, you may be nominated from the floor at the next meeting of the Delegate Assembly. Ten persons are required to Second nominations from the floor.

Unfortunately the Editorial staff
disclaimer covers all......complete
contents of the Reporter...How much
longer must this travesty continue?
Can the reporter be salvaged, or is
it time for a new publication, that
will reflect the facts, which can
easily be verified, from both the
tapes and minutes of meetings....
Fortunately, I have attended all
of the Delegates Assembly Meetings,
as well as several other committee
meetings,so I do know "Fact from
Fiction"...the only way we can bring about change, is by becoming
involved, which has prompted me to
submit my bio, for a position on
the Executive Board...

The bios of the candidates should be in the March UCO Reporter, which should give people 2 weeks to decide on their choices.
I do so hope there will not be Reporter delivery problems. Again.

Dave is that ‘persons’ or ’delegates’ when you say “Ten persons are required to Second nominations from the floor.”

Many thanks Dave.
The Internet Filler is working hard at the Reporter but page 25 would be better as “Tell me what you really think in the village” from the Blog.

I visited the Reporter by mistake. I was looking for the place to get a pass. I found a room in complete disarray. There were desks but no drawers. Their phones were not working properly. The computers were not working properly. Pat Blunck had little time to spend there, but he tried, it seems, the phone company was not handling the move properly. The people that were there were working diligently. One person couldn't find the papers they were looking for because during the move, they were misplaced. The room was freezing. With all this, they got the paper out on time. Someone said, it takes longer because of the color procedure. I say, let's give this group some breathing time. There are several rumors as to who is going to move in with them. This is something they don't need. Let's give them time to straighten out. Also, where was everybody? Some of the staff was missing due to illness.
