Good move putting the actual legislation up for people to read.Let us remember that the final legislation may read differently than this version. After reading , call your congressman and senators and tell them what you like or dislike . If you don't, the lobbyist win and I assure you, they don't have your best interest at heart. Mike

Unless I've got this all wrong... we must kill the bill, or the bill will eventually kill us. A real wake-up call, don't you think?
'Survival of the fittest' may become reactivated in our 'civilized society' through imposed government policy. What's next... legalization of euthanasia?
Maybe even a one time payment offered to those who enroll in such a plan. This would give new meaning to 'pay as you go'! I'm becoming quite uncomfortable with the present state of affairs.

Thanks for posting Health Care Bill HR3200 I already have it and feel it is important for people to understand what Congress is considering. The interview with B.McCaughy is certainly alarming. She has another interview with Fred Thompson in which she describes how on page 425 it is provided that all persons over 65 will be mandated to undergo counseling every five years with the objective being they be informed how to end their own life earlier. She calls this pushing suicide to to cut medicare spending. Read pages 425 to 434 under Advanced Care Planning Consultation and see if you find her characterzation applicable. One thing I do not see is that these consultations are mandated by this legislation. I believe it was on Snopes and other places that indicated these consultations were not a requirement but an added entitlement. I will have to look at HR3200 for her assertions noted in the interview shown in this latest blog post George R. Pittell

I think Betsy’s Nazi-pictured Euthanasia U-tube is sensational nonsense, the bill talks about having a Living Will, designation of health care surrogate, thinking about what your wishes are. (Which I hope most of us have done). I would not have recognized the Bill from Betsy’s raving.
As far as rationed care I have Humana they ration by losing orders and records, not returning phone calls etc. I would not want Humana if I had illnesses. If you are healthy you can stay on their case and get the basics. When I had Blue Cross the Doctor was the worst but that may have been one sorry office. If your name is Kennedy or Bush your health care will be top notch, if not – its not.

I have Humana. My primary doctor is excellent. My emergency hospital stay was excellent and my only expense was my $50 deductible. All questions I had were answered forthwith.I'm very satisfied.

I wish that all uninsured Americans will get the same coverage I enjoy.

B. McCaughy is one of the biggest idiots in Congress. She is beyond right wing stupidity, and a liar to boot. She is totally out of touch with reality. When the Health care bill reaches its final version, then it can be debated. To argue anything now is just a waste of time.
