SHOW ME THE MONEY

Does you Condo Board of Directors provide you with annual fiancial statements? Does you Board advise you of the financial condition of you Association. If not, ASK . You have a right to access the accounting and financial records of you Association. Refer to FS 718.111(12). If the Board does not give you the financial info that you ask for, the ask WHY NOT, IT IS MY RIGHT.

As President of my association, I make sure that a detailed financial report is given at each board meeting and all owners receive a detailed annual finanacial statement prior to our annual meeting. I would also comment that my treasurer is one of the best and is on top of all financial matters concerning our association. I try to run a board that is transparent, responsible and democratic.

Hi, We are also very, very fortunate to have an execellent treasurer. Every month a financial report is on our bulletin board, and like you an end of the year report is given out. If I ever buy in the village again, I would ask for a financial report, so many that buy don't have a clue!!! I think we should interview the board not them interview potential us when purchasing a condo.
